Good but dog by the swimming pool not at all!!!

    rating19 Jul 2022

Nice hotel but I really didn't like that it's possible to bring own dog to the swimming pool and it walks near the swimming pool. It's totally not hygienical, and it'sa continues disturbing. I'm really disappointed. I had to go away, I came in Agadir for relax and stay even at the swimming pool and it wasn't... too bad because untill now the holiday here was really perfect.

Run-down, quaint one -night stay hotel

    rating06 Aug 2019

For the price I paid ,I expected a 3 -star service hotel but I was disappointed. Many stairs lead to the room I was assigned, which can be a pain in the neck for an elderly person. when I asked for a room closer to the reception, I was asked to pay 150 per night for the upgrade. The room was decent size with bath tub and hot water but no hair dryer . The TV was not flat. A detail for some but it shows no efforts have been made to upgrade the hotel. The old water pipes made terrible noise every time someone flushed toilet or took a shower. worse at night loud music from a nearby disco thundered all night. When I complained.the receptionist retorted they were not respondible for outside commotion.Maybe what redeems the hotel is the location: close to restaurants and the beach. It's also very green and the cleaning ladies are efficient. Will I stay there again? Definitely not.

    Weeks holiday

    rating02 Jul 2019

Ok.....this is not a good review, maids came in every day to make the bed, nothing else, the towels were so old and gray, sheets were not changed and bathroom not cleaned in the week we stayed, had to asked reception for loo roll.In its hay day the hotel was probably great but has not been maintained very well, we had no hot water for 3 days, every day was told “it will be fixed today”The breakfast staff however are lovely, so helpful and friendly, the “pool attendant” was also great.the pool area wasn’t safe to walk around bear foot as so many broken tiles, didn’t get in the pool as looking in the bottom was dirty. At the main entrance you have to walk through a metal detector! Please see pictures.

Worst holiday ever please do not book. You’ll thank me later.

Myself and 5 other friends stayed at this hotel last week. The service we received was absolutely disgraceful!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially staying with families. The moment we checked in to hotel staff was extremely unhelpful, they did not even smile to greet us guests and just passed us the keys for the room. They did not even show us the room at middle of night it took us nearly 20 mins finding the room. Also there was a lot of bugs and insects on the beds and toilets which my friends found very distressing and uncomfortable. My friend injured his leg due to broken glass table for which we didn’t receive any prior warning and in result had to receive medical assistance at hospital. Overall my friends and I have visited many different hotels but this has got to be one of the worst hotels which we have visited. Our stay was extremely unpleasant with unhelpful staff who took no notice of our concerns. This hotel is also not suitable for people with any disabilities as there are no lifts and atleast 100 stairs to climb up to reception. Please be warned before booking this hotel as we would never book this again.

    Average at Best

    rating27 Jan 2019

The grounds and building were beautiful and the place was very secure, but the service was average and the food at the restaurant was mediocre at best and severely over-priced. Breakfast is alright, but don't bother with dinner. The first night that we had dinner there, there was a proper buffet but we found animal ears in our food and much of the food tasted "off". The second night, they tried to tell us that we hadn't paid for dinner in our reservation despite our booking saying differently. Then they said it would be 100DH; when we clarified that it was total for both of us, they said it was. There was no buffet, the food was cold and undercooked, and then at the end of the meal they tried to charge us 230DH, which was significantly more than what they had previously told us. This became a huge argument and the restaurant staff became unnecessarily belligerent, bordering on violence. Beyond this, the TVs are outdated (remember those big box things from the 00s?) and have poor reception, and Wifi is only available in select common areas in the hotel. The hotel has great potential to be an absolutely stellar place, but until they change their restaurant management and chef, plus update the tech, it's average at best and not worthy of the 4-star hotel rating I've seen for it on other sites. This is the third hotel we've stayed in in Agadir, and you're really better off staying at Hotel Argana around the corner.
