Location

This large hotel complex enjoys a stunning location right by Agadir's wonderful beach. The nearest shopping centre is easily within walking distance, around 5 minutes away, while the city centre is around 20 minutes away.

Facility

The hotel has 338 rooms, including 12 junior suites, 12 suites and 312 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 4 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 3 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. A television with satellite and pay-per-view channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 2 indoor and outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area, which is in part heated, also has a children's pool. The pool area also includes a hot tub, a waterslide and a pool bar. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, golf and horse riding. With windsurfing, paddle boating, water aerobics and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics, aerobics and handball. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate area for smokers. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. Special extras await all-inclusive holidaymakers, such as non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, for example. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Special culinary options, such as diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Stunning hotel and location but let down by service, staff and entertainment

    Positives Location of the hotel is very good. Lots of shops and places to eat in walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful, very elegant and spotlessly clean. The rooms are small but well furnished and include a hair dryer and kettle. Views over the beach are amazing. Great place to eat and have a drink. Negatives Staff can be rude and dismissive. Especially reception staff. We reported a problem with the door lock and air con, was told someone would come to fix it but no one did. There is no sunbed service for drinks so it’s a trip to the bar every time you want a drink which we was really disappointed with as we had been really spoilt with service in a previous trip to Tunisia. Waiting staff in the restaurant are there to set and clear tables. One did bring a bottle of water when asked. Otherwise no interaction at all. Not all staff were fluent in English (we don’t expect this but comparing to Tunisia. Again, all staff had to be fluent in three languages) . We came prepared to tip well but literally everything is self service! One day a parasol flew off the base in a gust of wind and missed my daughter by inches. Not one member of staff came over. Guests had to sort it themselves. Reported it to reception said they would send someone…. No concern at all. Bar staff could be really rude. Pool bar asked us regularly to bring our empties back (saw one lad out a few times collecting rubbish and glasses), should have asked to be put on the payroll. Atlantic bar was not going to let us take few drinks to bed saying “we must bring back the glasses tonight, you cannot take all our glasses we will have none!!” We had 5! Couldn’t believe it. We were very disappointed with the food selection. Very small. Similar things each day. The tagine options were lovely otherwise we lived on pizza and chips. They cooked a different meat each day in the bbq which was also lovely. My kids ended up getting mad d delivered! As you expect the food was very continental but certainly geared towards the French as is the hotel in general. Entertainment We expected fun and frolics by the pool each day. However entertainment (if you can call it that) started at about 3.30. Which was a dance to the hotel specific song then they left some louder party type music on. The foam party was underwhelming compared to what we experienced in Tunisia and that is if you could brace the pool temperature which was tiny short of freezing and a talking point of all guests. The staff walked about talking to guests and where very friendly but there was no vibe or atmosphere or genuine encouragement to get people involved. That being said I couldn’t really tell you what the option of involvement where. They played darts one day and mentioned a completion with miss Katie, no idea what or where. The “announcer” sounded like he was announcing a death each day. We did laugh but how they thought it wouldDrum up enthusiasm we just don’t know. We didn’t visit the downstairs club so can’t comment on that other than to say whatever the entertainment was it didn’t start til 9.30 which we felt was far too late.The Atlantic bar had a lovely ambience. Nice spot to chill out with someLight entertainment such as the a singer. The magician was amazing! Finally bar service ends at 11pm. Everything was closed by midnight and the hotel pretty much got plunged into darkness including outside lights over looking the beach which we felt was very odd and not safe if you wanted to go out and come back late. We checked in just beforeMidnight. Couldn’t get a drink or anything to eat. Trips Don’t book through the hotel. The prices are ridiculous. We booked online and had no problems at all with it and saved a fortune.Overall we still enjoyed our stay. Great family time. We Wouldnt return however.     Your animation team are, without doubt, the highlight of your hotel. They are not just a team of entertainers but role models to the young people they interact with: kind, upbeat, considerate and inclusive of young and old. My son was truly inspired by the time he spent with them all; particular thanks go to Lile for his interactions and kindness towards our son and to Youssef and the lovely Moussa who both invested a lot of time in our family. Ismail from the kitchen was also a pleasure to see and speak to each evening. Other positives include fab food, reliable WiFi, clean communal spaces and brilliant evening entertainment.We hope to return and experience it all again soon!
