    dirty but relaxed

    rating23 Sept 2026

I didn't read the reviews before my trip. I have to agree: it was old and dirty (yep cockroaches are really there). But I also had a great time, relax atmosphere, some staff are really friendly. So if you can manage a bit of dirt (and sometimes a bit more), you can have a good time. Location is close to the beach, a walking route down through the Souk. Restaurants all around.

Very disappointing – would not recommend.

Very disappointing – would not recommend. We arrived at this hotel and were shocked by the condition of the room. The bathroom was extremely dirty and badly worn, the furniture and fittings were damaged and poorly maintained, and there were also exposed electrical wires. The condition was so unacceptable that we left immediately and did not stay there at all.We took photographs of everything immediately after arrival. This was not simply about the hotel being old-fashioned — the level of cleanliness, maintenance and safety was simply unacceptable. In my opinion, this hotel deserves “-3” stars rather than 3 stars.I would not recommend this hotel.

Ideally located, great pool but poor customer service

    rating09 Aug 2026

We arrived at this hotel around 3pm, 1 hour after check in. Upon our arrival, the staff appeared quite rude and not welcoming. During check in, the lady said she could not find our details, and then we started to panic as we booked through Love Holidays. Anyway, she found them eventually and then took a photocopy of our passports which is quite normal procedure, but when she came back from the photocopier, she just plonked them in the never-ending pile of passport papers, not in a secure place - so who knows what happens to them? We were shown to our room, which was not ready yet, I suppose we did not mind, we just went to explore and when we came back it was ready. Room was on the ground floor, very basic but then you get what you pay for, we only use the room to sleep, get changed and have a shower and use the toilet. If you need more, look elsewhere. The room was clean and cleaned everyday. There is no air conditioning in our room and no fans and we did not really want to leave the windows open over night as there are lots of well fed stray cats roaming around and did not want them to jump in through the windows. It is very noisy at night times, at random times as well, not music but just people passing or chilling and chatting, so take earbuds if you are a light sleeper like me. The pool was clean and cleaned every morning and a joy to the hotel, probably the best bit. Breakfast is basic, but plentiful if you want it to be. Freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly made omelettes. We enjoyed it. Location is also one of the best bits too, 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops and pretty much all other attractions are within walking distance, if you fancy it, we did. We walked to the Souks El Had which is about 30-40 mins away and the cable cars are around a 45 minute walk away. Bureau de change and local shops are across the road of the hotel and small souks are located by the side of the hotel and also there are some souks on the beachfront. If you want a basic, budget friendly place to have as a perfectly located base to stay for washing, sleeping a decent, but very basic breakfast and exploring, I recommend, but if you want more - look elsewhere. The Hammam massage places by the side of the hotel are a rip off and are a scam with poor service, do not go there would be my advice. Really inexperienced and poorly run.

    Horrendous ??????????

    rating08 Aug 2026

Now where to begin...Tagadirt aparthotel agadirThe hotel is "fine" if you can handle the fact that1. No air-conditioning in 30 celcius at night2. No WiFi [unless in lobby]3. Pool with no filter [murky]4. Dilapidated furniture, rooms, utensils, poorly maintained5. Hairy/dirty sheetsNow these are the okai aspects.Providing you can handle these issues above, the other aspects like6. Lengthy check in process7. Slightly rudish staff [check other reviews]8. Children begging at front doors/outside lobby9. Noisy and uncouth guests10. The breakfast which consists of 5 staff members that literally do what 1 person can do... but not even well.Breakfast consists of unlimited pan-au-chocolate, baguette and a plate of jam, butter and clotted cream. The tea/coffee is disgusting and orange juice [125ml] is 1 per person. It is genuinely hilarious. So many guests walk in then walk out ??????If you can handle these issues11. Noisy as heck at night [will hear motorbikes, quad bikes, police whistling until 3am. Also, windows dont fully seal so you cant curb the noise, so, it's tough to sleep. Coupled with no air con, crap mattress and pillow. Now if you can handle this,12. Room 6109 - the smell of mould/dampness in the toilet was horrendous. Disgusting. Im writing this incase I end up with respiratory issues. This room should not be sold... other than a sewage works, no smell could rival. I used my boxers shorts as a face mask every time I had to go in to the toilet. ????????????????????13. Bath was horrendous, absolutely ancient, all colours and shades. Couldnt stomach having a bath in it.14. Condensation, leaking bath spilling onto the floor, had to wipe floor after every shower. Why do you ask why we didnt complain?Check other reviews. Sounds like it would be pointless. GF bought the holiday without checking reviews. The location is skewing the results as location is excellent therefore being rated 3/5. But in realityService 1/5Condition 0/5Location 5/5Anyway some pros - close to beach which is awesome, lots of kittens and cats in hotel, alot of police, army, guards...My GF and I were going to come home early, but just couldn't stomach paying more to go home. Just figured we would stick it out.Ps she has been to around 50/60 countries in her life, I have been to around 35 for comparison and never have I ever wanted to leave early.

    Poor hotel

    rating25 Jul 2026

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.First of all, the hotel is very dirty and very old.Secondly, the ants crawling on the countertops were disgusting; when we pointed out the ant problem, we were ignored.Thirdly, there were cockroaches outside the rooms and inside them—we were even afraid to sleep...Fourthly, we couldn't get into our room twice because the key got stuck in the lock; it all became too much, so we went to reception to ask for a room change, but the staff member got so angry they slammed their hand on the desk.Breakfast was the same every day—no choice involved, you just got whatever they brought you.The towels were filthy and full of holes, and the pillows were very dirty too.Fifthly, the bathtubs were filthy, as if the room hadn't been cleaned before our arrival.I wholeheartedly do not recommend this hotel. We were a family of four but only received three towels. The internet was an absolute disaster.A guy tried to fix it seven times, but it only worked for 10 minutes. The chairs would simply fall apart from old age when you sat on them, and the tables were uneven—if you put something down, you had to catch it before it fell to the floor.Filth, squalor, and shabbiness.
