  Nice hotel, remote location, limited food offer, great staff

  The hotel is situated high up on the hills overlooking the ocean. It’s location gives great views of the sea and the sunsets but it’s a short bus trip to the sea and the sister Hyatt Regency hotel. It’s a taxi ride to nearby towns and restaurants. We found the location wasn’t ideal for us as we were too dependent on the hotel unless we wanted to get the bus / taxi elsewhere. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a lovely pool area. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and keen for you to have a good time. We found the food option quite limited particularly at lunchtime and evening. There is no evening à la carte option apart from a “tapas” menu and the buffet. The hotel should really have an evening restaurant offer. The Hyatt Regency hotel provides better options but guests are restricted by the shuttle bus timings. Our room was great and the housekeeping staff kept it clean for us. Unfortunately my wife was ill for a few days during our stay so we didn’t have much option to explore nearby.

  Lovely stay. The facilities are very good. Room was very spacious. We really enjoyed the breakfast and helpful, kind staff. The curtains weren't great but everything else was fab ??   Shocking front desk manager (“owner of Hyatt”)

  3* only because of reception manager We got off a 7 hr flight and were greeted by our transfer man and went on our way to the hotel so all was good. Until I went up to the reception counter and a nice lady said “unfortunately we don’t have a booking with your name” And we both said something must be wrong and she checked again and came back to say same. She then said maybe speak to company who we booked through. So I tried calling from my phone and my wife’s but only to get no dial tone. So I asked calmly to use the desk phone to which she said sure, I called www.teletextholidays.com and the lady I spoke with said “im just going to pop me on hold” I was waiting when front desk and this manager said “do I know how long this will take” I answered with I don’t ask agent on the phone had put me on hold. Trying my best to stay calm and not get overly stressed. This so called front desk manager then has a conversation with me about “do I know how much the phone bill will be” I responded with it’s ok if Hyatt can’t afford to pay “I’ll cover my time on this call” he says “ok” and walks to the end of the counter. He comes back to me again complaining about how long this is taking (approximately 20-30mins) I understand it’s taken time but where on gods earth was customer service from this so called manager. I on that occasion was very disappointed and angry and said to him “im sorry, I didn’t know Hyatt can’t afford phone bills” and yes I do believe I was angry and the fact other people around me heard him say what he said we were all shocked. I said “I didn’t know that you were the owner of Hyatt” and his answer was “yes, I am the owner of Hyatt”Fortunately soon after Abdellatif - rooms manager was great Came to me, wife and 12month on and said “don’t worry and apologized”. He managed to get it sorted. through the week asked and spoke to us and was amazing service from him and all the staff but the desk manager left a foul taste so it’s taken me/us this time to write a review.   My experience at this hotel was disappointing

  My experience at this hotel was disappointing, especially considering it was supposed to be a five-star establishment. The dining facilities did not meet expectations. The plates were not properly washed, and many of them had broken corners. The food was tasteless and of poor quality. During my five-night stay, I chose not to eat for three of those nights. Additionally, the staff had inconsistent rules. On the first day, the dining staff informed us that there would be no charge for small children, yet we were still charged for them. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this place again.   I just spent 10 days in the hyatt place taghazout hotel and everything was great, whether it was food, rooms or service... Besides, I wanted to adress a special comment to the animation team from Ringo animation composed by Abdou, Hamza, Imane, Siham and Dina, who was very kind, attentive and respectful as a whole, they really made this holiday better and I'm thankful to them (surprisingly good at pétanque too).
