Location

This hotel is located in the eco-friendly village of Taghazout Bay, which boasts some of the best surf spots in the world. There are recognised surf academy and surf shop, managed by a team of local experienced and qualified surfers. The property is situated on the seaside of Taghazout Bay, where tourists are offered tremendous experiences focused on sea, culture, sports, nature and ecotourism.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The bungalow complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Rooms

Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms have a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Amazing people who work here, service was outstanding. food is outstanding , pool is outstanding, private beach is outstanding, this was our second visit and exceeded all expectations. Take time to know people's names..... the respect will come back at you 10 times over. This place is my perfect holiday. Looking to book again in September . If there is any kind of problem, the management and staff will sort it ?? also Amazing to watch ???? draw with ???? at reserved seat in fantastic beach bar . Absolutely perfect :) Ian and Carole. Xx

    Completely let down by management

    Our stay at Radisson Blu Taghazout Bay Surf Village was ultimately overshadowed by a distressing incident that was handled appallingly by hotel staff and management.While we were at lunch, two of our beach sun loungers, complete with our towels and belongings, were allocated to other guests (not staying at the hotel). Rather than resolving the issue professionally, staff escalated the situation, which resulted in a confrontation that left my family feeling intimidated and unsafe.What was most shocking was the response from management. Our concerns were repeatedly dismissed, we were effectively told that what we had witnessed had not happened, and no meaningful support or follow-up was provided. Despite clearly explaining the impact the incident had on my family, we were left feeling ignored and unsupported.The incident and the hotel's handling of it significantly affected our holiday, resulting in the loss of over two days of what should have been a relaxing family break.There are positive aspects to this resort, particularly the yoga and surf teams, but guest safety, customer care and accountability start with management. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below the standards we expected from a Radisson Blu property.

    Exceptionally friendly staff. Cute little bungalows settled in nature but also close to hotel amenities with sea views, bird song and butterflies everywhere. Great programme of activities if you want to get involved from acqua aerobics to paid activities such as yoga, Pilates and Reform Pilates. Pool is gorgeous with lots of sun chairs and umbrellas. The beach is a short hop across the beach promenade and is beautiful. Great programme fun to jump in and out of the waves. Security is everywhere and you feel safe. Good vibe at the beach with light music. 10min walk along the promenade to get to Taghazout where there are really great authentic restaurants and great opportunities for photos capturing authentic Morocco. Food at the hotel is good. We loved the Italian wood fire pizzas. Breakfast buffet had a good range with exceptionally nice orange juice. Lovely sheep ice cream is also very tasty.     Superb location and good facilities. I loved how the buildings blended in with the surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the yoga classes overlooking the sea. Very relaxing.     Individual bungalows, quite spacious and decent space between them, not overlooked so enjoyed that aspect of the hotel. The room was nice and spacious but overlooked the car park sadly, and the bed was a solid brick so neither of us had a decent sleep all week so we were actually glad to be going home just to have a comfy bed. Shame really about that. Breakfast was great, good choice but you have to get there early as it is so busy if you get there after 9.00am. We were B and B which I would recommend as we ate in the hotel Italian restaurant on the 1st evening till we found our way around. The food was terrible. We both had diarrhea that lasted a couple of days. The charge for eating the buffet in the main restaurant was 600 MAD each, very expensive for there especially if you don't eat too much or eat desserts, you still were paying full price. Stick to bed and breakfast and go into Taghazout Village. The walk along the boardwalk in the evening is safe and there are a couple of restaurants that served decent food, Panorama being one of them serve fabulous fillet steak and at a good price. Beach Bar was nice place to sit in the evening before we walked to the village. Pool area always seemed to be full and beds are close together so we used the beach area which is nice and beds are fairly seperate, so privacy to talk to each other is nice. Sunbeds could do with an upgrade to more comfortable and thicker mats, it does deserve that. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay, nice grounds and well maintained, but food in the restaurants especially the Italian was bland and completely unimaginative. I would not return nor recommend. Taghazout Village I found a dirty dump, litter all over the streets, it is noticeable that there are an awful lot more males wandering about than females especially early evening, not sure why that would be? They were hanging about in groups around the main street (which is in fact what they call the Village) but we didn't feel threatened at all by them. We have travelled the world many times and the marketing of Taghazout as a great destination is 'oversold' as I had never heard of it before and really was not what I expected. Basically it is a back packers heaven if you surf. Essaouira trip not worth the £112 we paid to go, but nothing else there to do.
