A Wonderful Experience ????
20 Sept 2026
We have a lovely stay in m Agadir ??A very warm welcome, literally when we arrived. All staff are extremely attentive and we found the hotel really clean and well presented. Previous reviews had caused a degree of apprehension before we arrived but we were bowled over with the reception we received. Special mention had to go to our attentive housekeeper who always left our room clean and special touches each time we returned to our room, an abundance of towels which was much appreciated! In the restaurant special mention has to go to Yassine Azdou who was extremely attentive with my severe food allergy and whose professionalism was excemplary. Also Yassine our waiter who looked after us each evening and who took pride in everything he does. The pool attendants and life guards were also attentive and professional. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely return. Thanks ???? First Moroccan Trip
19 Sept 2026
Our first time in Morocco with a visit to Agadir. Excellent location with direct access to beach. (Strangely, have own Private beach within hotel grounds). Located near the end of an excellent long beach (approx 7 Kilometers in length) away from Agadir town itself which made for an excellent stroll along the Corniche (promenade)Relaxed calm environment throughout our stay, Just what we wanted, Our Deluxe Room had pool and ocean views and was cleaned daily to a high quality.2 Downsides - The bird droppings found on our balcony every morning and room refrigerator that got extemely hot inside its cupboard (It seems these are common problems found in hotels throughout the world) Surely there must be simple ways to resolve these issues ?.To be fair we took little notice of amenities available, being there to totally relax. But must say that the pool was huge and loungers /seating/pool beds were in abudance and of very good quality. Nightly entertainment was to be found mainly in the huge atrium with light dances and various musical performances to see.Anywhere we go service is main essential of a holiday and here we can only say thateveryone we met at the hotel was extemely courteous and helpful, with special mention to Hiba and Yassine at meal times being informative and friendly as were Soofan and Rachid around the pool area. As to value for money this is always a contentious issue but we believe that you get what you pay for. However a common trend throughout hotels (and bars) worlwide, is the extortionist prices charged for SOFT drinks. The small issues preventing a maximum rating !All in all we had a very nice relaxed 10 days and managed to see some of the surrounding attractions.Would definitely recommend to interested parties Dounia JABAL, Service clients/Réception at Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort, responded to this review Hello,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and positive review of your stay with us!
