Why stay with a chain of hotels when boutique is this good? Surely a unique experience to be had here at Art Palace

    rating16 Jan 2020

Superb boutique hotel with superb service, staff, facilities (including pool with jacuzzi jets, massage and Hammam), cleanliness, food, drinks and entertainment. I made good use of the lovely warm swimming pool which was immaculately clean. I also had a 45 minute massage which was so good I booked another one the next day for an hour, plus the Royal Hammam. Excellent. One of the best Hammam and massages I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many!). The complementary bath robe and slippers ensured I was cosy and comfortable around the spa, from and to my suite. Superior suite was fantastic, everything was perfect and the room immaculate. Nespresso coffee machine made me feel I was at home, and a fully stocked mini bar catered for a late night chocolate craving! I had dinner in the hotel 3 times and the food is very very good. Taste, presentation and portion sizes are excellent. Evening entertainment with live music and singing was really enjoyable too. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough. A must stay if you’re a fan of boutique hotels and you’re visiting Casablanca. I’ll definitely be staying here again. As a solo female traveller it’s important to add I felt safe, secure and welcome at all times during my stay. I initially booked for 2 nights but liked it so much I extended my stay by another day. Friday evening the restaurant and bar was packed. Atmosphere was fantastic with modern music and traditional live music. Location is also perfect directly off Boulevard Anfa by 5 metres. You’ll be pleased you chose this hotel and you’ll have a lovely time. Staff are kind, friendly, attentive and caring, true hospitality at its best. Thanks Art Palace. You’re an A Team!Disliked · Hmmm. Seriously, I’d be nit picking to find anything I didn’t like worthy of noting. Oh, my starter portion size was so huge I couldn’t eat my main course one evening! Well if that’s the worst it can get, lol...

    Absolutely a No No

    rating18 Jul 2019

I am annoyed with myself for not reading the reviews and rushed to book this hotel. I actually somewhat felt I could not go wrong with Booking.com. This is not 4* hotel and I feel The information on website is misleading. I have no intention of ever coming to this hotel again. It’s 25 mins car drive to Morocco Mall and roughly half an hour drive to Hassan II Mosque and other sites. Positives of the place are that the rooms are very spacious on two level especially the one we had with the sea view as well as super big bed. The hotel is 5 min walk to the beach, location is ok if you want to be away from noise, a little isolated and lots of new construction around the hotel. The breakfast was reasonable with warm bread, croissants, fresh orange juice, yogurt and melon. The negatives are: Very poor hygiene, Stained bedding covers although it smelled fresh, we asked it to be changed but not done! Only one towel in the bathroom despite requesting two with hand towel Leaking toilet. No light in toilet. Empty fridge. No coffee making facility. Exposed electrical wiring Outside landing and stairs need a good wash. Very dusty outside porch furniture and TV channels - only 6 channels all Arabic could do with some English. Blocked sink basin in the bathroom. This is a Ghost hotel, we only saw one couple at breakfast! The place needs updating and perhaps new management!

    OH MY GOD

    rating02 Jan 2017

This hotel needs to be closed for sure. it was one of the worst maybe the worst experience i have had in the hotel category. When i checked-in i noticed that they gave me a room full of humidity and with a bad smell. After i complained, they changed it to a another room but very cold. we put the AC on in order to have some heat but it took one day to pass from 14 degrees Celcius to 18 degrees. he had to borrow an electric heating from the receptionist. For the room service, the room didn't have a number that allows you to reach the reception or any other services.I went to the restaurant and no one was there. I tried to order ice but they told me that they don't have ice in this hotel.I have more and more things to say and this was only in 2 days. The problem is that this hotel has a nice artistic architecture and that the staff is very helpful but the top management does a very bad job. They should close it, sell it and open again

    rating11 Aug 2016

I booked in the spa for moroccan bath and i was shocked..first they had no towels and i was given an old damp bath robe, then when i asked for water as i was extremely thirsty they said they have none and it would take a long time to get it from the restaurant, i will never go there again..AVOID at all costs

    Avoid at all cost!

Visually the hotel is very nice and well designed and the wifi is free however... sadly, these are probably the only positive things I can say about it.The young lady at the front desk was very impolite and seems she forgot that her job is to serve the guests.Maintenance is a serious issue as the room was very pretty however in a horrible situation, bathroom sink wasn't draining the water, the bath was full with rust, the curtains were dirty and the couch as well... felt like in a cheap motel in the 70s'The water in the swimming pool were dirty and foul.PS. don't think that for the high price of the room you will get some liquid soap or some nice body cream... Anyhow, I think you got the message, I was really disappointed and think this hotel has a great potential but currently doesn't worth the money.
