This hotel is located outside of Casablanca, 6 km from Dar Bouazza beach, Parc Casa Nearshore and the Technopark, 7 km from the Aquapark 10 km from the city centre and 15 km from Hassan II Mosque. Casablanca Airport is 35 km away.

    Good value for money. Booked a last minute, cheap week of sun. Rooms were a good size, with a large comfortable bed. Rooms were cleaned daily, bed linen changed twice in a week. The restaurant ladies were welcoming, food was good, always found something to eat. The pool was large, plenty of sun beds, luckily not all reserved with towels. The hotel was not near any other bars, just a couple about 15 minutes walk away near the beach, down a very steep hill. We only went for a quiet week so was happy to get a taxi to go on a boat trip. Hired a car in reception to spend a day touring the island. Had read a few negative reviews before we went so was a little concerned. For what we paid, we really cannot fault it, if you’re expecting more then pay more.

    We had a wonderful time at Cathrin Hotel despite the negative reviews we read beforehand. I was concerned before we arrived having read the reviews. However on arrival late at night we were made very welcome, given water and sandwiches and shown to our room. Yes perhaps rooms are a bit dated and air conditioning noisey but who cares - it’s only somewhere to get your head down. The variety of food at breakfast lunch and dinner was good and both Georgia and Catherina were amazing - so welcoming and friendly and attentive - loved them both. The Anthony Quinn bay was on a short stroll away and absolutely stunning and Falariki town was no more than 25 minutes walk from the hotel. The lady at the pool bar Maria was just so lovely and nothing was ever a bother for her. The pool was a good size and catered for young children and entertainment in the evening for good - music quiz - bingo - Greek night etc. some reviews mentioned a steep hill to the hotel - yes there is a bit of a hill but it’s fine. All in all a great stay at Cathrin hotel and would definitely come back.

    Do not go here. Luckily we only stayed one night due to cancellation of flight. Air condition not sufficient to bring temperature below 28 degrees. Unusually rude restaurant staff, except for the young man helping us find our room (room numbers extremely unorganized). Mediocre food. All in all an unusually bad hotel experience, and we are quite used to staying in three stars. (Expressed views are strictly my own).

    We went here for a night due to a canceled flight. The entrance and reception hall was pleasant and so was the staff there. But that’s about it. The rooms reminded us more of a hostel with outdated and worn interiors. An extremely filthy air-condition machine with a terrible noise. And the restaurant had a very aggressive grey haired woman who seemed to be in charge. I would steer off!
