  Maintenance and cleanliness issues

  The hotel has a good location (opposite a shopping center). Free parking and a reasonable breakfast. But I stayed in a room on a lower floor and could hear the traffic noise. The shower drain was clogged, the bidet didn't work, and the sink faucet released yellowish water for a long time (probably rusty pipes). One night I saw a cockroach crawling on my bed.   I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Athos in Brasília. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent.I would especially like to thank Adriana Bezerra and Beatriz from the restaurant team, who made my experience truly memorable. They were welcoming, attentive, and ensured everything was perfect during my visit.   Good Service - But Beware

  The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. However, the entire two day hotel experience was tarnished when I received two unauthorized charges on my American Express card for $800 and $750, respectively. This hotel was the only place that I used the American Express card during my trip in Brazil. If you choose this hotel just be advised that protection of your credit information is not a high priority here.
