    Modern Hotel in Central Casablanca

    I stayed one night at the Kyriad while visiting Casablanca. It's a modern hotel that can work well for tourists or business travelers. The location is very central and it is walkable to a variety of restaurants and shops; the Casa Voyageurs train station is an easy 15 min walk. The room was modern and clean; ours included a kitchenette. Service was courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was quite good with a variety of options and a large dining areas. Being toward the rear of the property, our room was quiet with no street noise. Overall I'd recommend Kyriad as a modern, western-style hotel for a stay in Casablanca.     Convenient location, but functional issues

    I stayed at Kyriad Residence Casablanca Centre Ville and while the location is undeniably convenient, my experience was overshadowed by several frustrating shortcomings:Doors slam shut: The room doors don’t fit their frames properly - so they swing shut forcefully and loudly. This made for sleepless nights when other guests came or went.Fridge didn’t cool: The minibar was essentially useless - everything stayed at room temperature despite attempts to adjust it.Housekeeping lapses: Cleaners never replenished towels or bottled water in my room, even though I expected those basics to be refreshed daily.Broken fixtures: The lamp flickered and towel hooks were damaged - suggesting a lack of maintenance.Incompatible plugs: The electrical outlets didn’t work with standard converters, making it difficult to charge electronic devices.On top of these issues, I also encountered a problem with the booking process. I had mistakenly reserved a non-cancellable night for August 30 instead of my intended date, August 16. When I arrived on August 16, I realized the error, explained it to the front desk, and rebooked for that night - staying and paying in good faith. Despite this, management refused to provide any reimbursement or credit for the unused August 30 reservation, leaving me effectively charged twice.For a hotel positioning itself as a convenient and comfortable option, I found both the physical shortcomings and the lack of flexibility around a genuine booking mistake disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as the property’s location deserves better support from its facilities and policies.     This budget hotel was disappointing on our arrival night. The fridge wasn’t working and was leaking on the floor. The towels were worn out and some were stained. We called for service and nobody picked up the phone. We had to get fresh towels ourselves early in the morning.Our travel agent who booked it sent an email and they sent us more fresh towels and they fixed the fridge. The entrance to this hotel is through the next door hotel Campanille .The receptionist and the concierge were very attentive and friendly. They spoke good English.We returned to the Kyriad 10 days after and we got a better room and better towels.     Excellent stay in Casablanca

    Kyriad is centrally located and is within walking distance from Casablanca attractions. Rooms are nice sized and well appointed. My room had kitchenette. Underground parking is available. The hotel checks off all the boxes for an excellent stay. My only concern is lack of system for cooling the room. There is an heating system . I could open the window to let the cool air in evenings but this may not be sufficient in summer.
