Small Things Missing

Location was walking distance to the Medina and other restaurants. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful. Small things missing is the only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars. Breakfast was just ok with minimal choices; rooms had minimal storage for clothes; and there was no where to hang your town when showering. Overall a very nice stay. I am utterly shocked for how this hotel earned officially 5 stars in a beautiful country like Morocco, known for its high standard of hospitality. The ranking of 5 stars of this hotel proves some kind of corruption to get this number of stars without merit. It is surely that someone handling the answers for customers’ complaints would again answer this comment diplomatically. How much veneer you would use to hide truth. Instead of going around serious complaints of your customers who trusted you, you should try to invest in bridging the gap of reaching the exigencies of 5 stars real standard. Now, let me explain to you what is lacking in the room beside its superficially attractive fake design items to fool residents; the hairdryer is inexistant, the AC was not working and a gentleman came to fix it with safe box, no tissues were in the room, the two doors of extension for family in case are joined are fragile and lack safety measures, and so forth. I cannot keep describing discrepancies of this hotel that fooled me and my spouse with its sexy photos in the internet. I do believe that in Morocco there splendid hotels with global best rankings because of their professionalism and a sense of entitlement vis-à-vis their international clients, but this one no doubt there is a question mark on who owns it and it gets 5 stars. Please act to resolve these issues before it gets discovered for its ill performance. Thank you for your understanding and don’t forget customers pay their money earned with hard work. Spacious rooms and good beds. Nice common areas. Dinners and breakfast ok however did run out of food all the time. They refilled if you asked for it. Pretty good location, close to the beach and 20 min from to the city walls. AC did only work for heating. Bathtub was not cleaned between guests or during your stay. No refill of water or teabags during your stay. Not a 4-star hotel. Large, beachfront hotel near camel/horse rentals. Stayed two nights; saw two cockroaches. Large room with two single beds (not ideal), scratchy sheets, TV w/ good reception (remote needed new batteries), safe, mini fridge, complimentary bottled water, kettle/tea/instant coffee, large bathroom w/ robes, toothbrush/paste, razor, shampoo/conditioner/gel/lotion in-shower dispensers (2 of which were empty) tub shower guard with 1 inch of space underneath soaks the floor in a matter of seconds, terrible climate control, breakfast with omelette station outside (by pool), limited tea selection, nice staff. We stayed here for 5 nights after staying in an amazing Riad in Marracesh and found it to be rather souless.The bathroom area was dissapointing with cracked tiles around the shower.
