    Amazing hotel to stay in . We asked for a sea view and certainly got one staying in the royal suite . Amazing room with private terrace and sunbeds. I recommend asking for room 13. The pool was small but really nice and quiet with most people out and about . Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good . Essaouira is a nice chilled place to visit. The hotel is a short walk of 2 minutes to the beach and 20 minute walk to the medina . Perfect place to stay

    This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location about a 1 km walk from the old medina. We had room 12 which has a sea view and overlooks the pool. The staff are exceptional, helpful and kind. The garden and pool are really relaxing. My only (very minor) criticism would be that the breakfast does not vary. Each day the same. It was nice but could do with a bit of a shakeup IMHO. That notwithstanding this is a great choice for an extremely relaxing stay in this wonderful city.

    we stayed here for a week as part of a 3 month tour.....lovely hotel....when you first walk into the property you are amazed by what you see and it continues throughout the entire hotel.....you feel as if you are in a palace.....the rooms,porches, seating areas,etc are just lovely... the pool area and gardens are well care for...the location is across the street from the beach with a beautiful promenade all the way to the medina...about a 20 minute walk...taxis are unbelievably inexpensive and easy to find.. the breakfast was a typical Moroccan affair with eggs of your choice....the staff is extremely warm and caring....would return happily.....😀

    Villa Quieta is a little further away from the medina than other lodging, but DO NOT let that discourage you. It is a lovely stroll down the promenade to the medina or a 7 dirham taxi ride. It is absolutely worth it to stay here. My friend and I stayed here during our two day trip to Essaouira. We splurged for the large suite and we were so glad we did. It was really spacious and could easily accommodate a family of 4. We felt like royalty! There were so many closets - 7 in total! The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom at home! The bed was luxuriously comfortable. I had the best night sleep in a very long time. The private terrace was perfect for morning coffee and just looking at the view. The staff are simply wonderful. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and polite. The morning breakfast, which was included, was delicious and plentiful enough to tide us over until dinner. I plan to return to Essaouira for a longer visit and will absolutely stay at Villa Quieta.
