    Artistic Oasis in the Fes Medina

    This family run 14 room riad enveloped in a natural garden, sets the perfect scene for an oasis in the chaotic souk and Medina of Fes. Wonderful helpful staff, from the front desk to the restaurant including housekeeping and porter. The food is very good, and even outside guests come to dine here. Fabulous Jazz band on the Saturday night, and more local flavor group on Sunday. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Fes. The location was close enough to everything you wanted to see in the Medina. The owner was a collector and you can see his collections lovingly displayed around the property. There is a small pool, that I saw some of the guests using to cool off. The spa has a great Hanna treatment for one person at a time, same said for the massage room. Our Sultane suite was our perfect hideaway during the midday heat. Enjoying our balcony on the cool mornings. If you are looking for an artistic bohemian vibe, then this is your place. If you are looking for 5 start luxury and marble, then it’s not.

    This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, the garden is stunning and everything in my room was just perfect. Everywhere I looked around the road had exquisite details and everyday I noticed something I'd missed before. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is lovely, the cats are lovely. I found it very hard to leave and go exploring the city, normally on holiday I'm out early in the morning and back late in the evening but I just found myself wanting to sit on my balcony or all the lovely spots around the garden and really didn't go out for full days. I want to return, I'm in the airport and already dreaming of a return.

    Exceeded all expectations, from the moment we entered this lovingly cared for property. The garden is calming and affords privacy, the restaurant is delicious, staff is kind and attentive. Rooms tastefully decorated, clean, a true delight for the senses. We went on an excursion offered by the Riad, as well as a hamman treatment from their historic spa on the property. I would go back any time.

    We’ve just finished our second day here and we’ve all been thoroughly impressed by the beautiful surroundings, gorgeous gardens, quirky, interesting rooms and deco.All the staff have been quietly friendly and helpful, working with efficient speed to make our stay the best it can be. I’d definitely like to visit again and I’d recommend it to fellow travelers.

    This is a review solely on its restaurant as I did not stay in the actual Riad.Jardin’s restaurant presents itself as exclusive and pretentious, however the food is very disappointing. The dishes were overpowered with garlic making them unpleasant in taste, the fish did not smell fresh and we were wrong to ignore this as later at night it made me and my family sick. The vegetable Hassiete (a dish of vegetable products) was definetly not fresh, seemed pre-prepared and was poorly presented.Extremely disappointing especially due to all its talk in tourist guides.
