Location

This riad hotel is nested within the walls of the ancient medina. It is accessed through the Bab Ziat, one of the numerous gates leading into the historical medina of Fes. Guests will find the nearest links to the public transport network 500 m away and the closest bars 1 km from the riad. The riad is less than 1 km from the Batha Museum and close to the main sites of interest to tourists such as Boujloud Square (1.5 km), Medersa Bou Inania (2 km) and Couara tanneries (3 km). The new part of the city is 4 km away. Meknes is 60 km away and Fes - Saïss Airport is just 15 km away.

Facility

2 junior suites, 3 suites and 2 double rooms are available to guests. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     What an amazing stay! From the moment you step into Riad Damia, you are treated like royalty in a setting that feels like a true palace.The suites are fit for a princess—tranquil, spotlessly clean, and featuring incredibly comfortable beds. The showers are exceptional with an abundance of hot water, and the WiFi is super fast. As for the breakfast, it is nothing short of a feast!All of the staff are really friendly and helpful.What truly makes this stay wonderful, however, is the manager, Asmaa. She was beyond wonderful and nothing was too much trouble; she effortlessly organised our meals, transfers, and even a takeaway breakfast for our early flight. We also highly recommend the on site hammam spa—being scrubbed and pummelled was exactly what we needed after two days in the desert.The location is perfect: a stunning setting with city views, easy car access for pick-ups, and a short walk into a safe part of the Medina. This is easily the nicest riad we have ever stayed in while visiting Morocco. We are already planning our return for next year and will continue to recommend it to everyone!

    While we understand that the building is almost 100 years old, we were hoping for more comfort. The furnitures are as good as gone, no cupboard or even space to put our stuffs. Toilet is manageable and breakfast is very average. Plus point, this riad has private hammam, and its a good one.But we must mention the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, they go out amd beyond to make our stay comfortable.We were hoping to have tea in the terrace but after climbing 4 storey, it doesn't look like a comfortable place to sit and enjoy. We end up having it downstairs.
