    Old and cold

    The room was very cold and it took hours to heat up. The food (chicken tagine) was cold. The water for a shower took a long time to heat up. The staff were very nice but the Riad (or at least the room we stayed in ) is in need of an update.

    Great meal, but even better service. Despite being very busy, Nawfal was friendly, funny and attentive, making our first meal in Morocco a truly memorable experience. The place has great ambiance, from the traditional intricate woodwork, to the bold colours, to the resident parrot singing and squawking away.We had two tagines — mussels and chicken — and enjoyed them both. Nawfal’s recommendations for desserts, both Moroccan favourites, were the perfect accompaniments.Nawfal even walked us to our taxi and made sure the driver knew where to drop us off.Just an amazing night. Highly recommend.

    Lovely experience

    This riad is a beautiful, calm, safe place. The staff are amazing. Omar met us at their parking and took our 2 large suitcases to the riad in the middle of the medina. Nawfal welcomed us along with the manageress. We were given Moroccan tea and cake helping us relax. They have a lovely manner and are very polite. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. Omar prepared a lovely breakfast for us the next day and a young man whose name I don't know took our suitcases back to the car. Would certainly go again

    I didn’t stay here, but dined at the riad’s restaurant on my last night in town — a wise choice on my part. In a country full of great tagines, this one set a sky-high standard that I had a great deal of trouble meeting for the rest of my trip. Wonderful service to match. If you’re in Rabat, don’t miss out on this place.

    Horrible experience, we moved out.

    We were supposed to stay in this riad for two nights. However, after our horrible first night, we found ourself another -much better riad for almost the same price- and moved out. To start with, the location -although within a walking distance of the other closer to the medina riads- was a bit scary at night. The room was ABSOLUTELY DIRTY AND DISGUSTING, the room reaked of dampness and the bedsheets were old and smelled of dust, like no one has bothered to wash them for months and we found dead bugs in the bed. The AC had a loud noise to it too. The bathroom was old and dirty and so were the towels and we were not able to get a good bath on that night. We couldnt spend another night there, it put us off. And when our travel agency informed the manager that we will be cutting our trip short, she sort of begged us to check the other “bigger” rooms. But honestly, we had had enough. We did not have a problem with the size of the room (actually to be fair, it was roomy), we had a problem with the cleanness of the room. Anyways, I would never recommend this place to anyone!!
