  I would definitly reccomend to stay at Riad Mikou. The place was clean, comfortable and peacefull. It was well located although the Medina is a maze. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff was lovely (We will miss you, Yuonss!). They gave us advice about places to visit, restaurants to eat and security measures. They always served us traditional marroccan tea in the morning and after dinner. The room was big and had a private bathroom. Riad Mikou exceed my expectations.

  Riad Mikou has perfect location in center of the Medina of Fes, has a great view from the terrace, the rooms are very clean and the owners are very kind! Very recommended place if you want to have the best time in Morocco!

  We had the most authentic Moroccon stay at this Riad, with very caring and helpful staff. We were guided around the marina by a staff member Hassan who showed us the most secluded and special spots that we would have never found by ourselves! We felt very cared for and grateful we were able to stay here! Will certainly come back

  According to the price you pay, riad mikou it’s a good place to spend some nights in Fes. The guys are really kind even if sometimes the communication is a bit difficult but they do their best to understand your needs. Our room were tidy and clean and if you ask you can have towels included.As girls we found quite dangerous going out alone when sun goes down, especially because riad mikou is in the middle of narrow and labirintic streets of medina. Anyway some evenings we needed to buy some food or cigarettes and they offered to go for us.Hosts always serve a delicious mint tea and breakfast are big and excellent quality!They also offer some tours/ taxi service/ guide service at reasonable prices but you can refuse and help yourself, you just need to be clear so they can organize.In conclusion this riad is good to feel part of real medina life but if you are a girl or you are alone and you want to have freedom even when it’s dark outside I suggest a more central/touristic place to stayIt’s just up to you and your needs!

  This riad is a tourist trap. Restaurant recommendations provided charge 4 times for meals compared to others, upto 25 Euros. Make you feel the Medina is a dangerous place, pressure to get a guide. We only wanted to see the tanneries, university, and blue gate. The guide took us to arts and crafts demonstrations where we were expected to buy items for a large markup. 50 Euro for 2 guides. Organized a tour to the desert (2 d, 1 n), for 130 Euros. You can find 3 d, 2 n tour for 95 Euros elsewhere. 182adilm, Propriétaire at Riad Mikou, responded to this review Hello, I think you have alredy make a comment on hostelword.com. it's not enough. that is good that you pronounce the price of the trip. i think you have never travelling or you don't know how to convert money, 130 euros for 700 kilometres, two times, one night with all included in the the unique beautiful desert on the north Africa, I'll give the double and it's realy cheap. for the guide the normal price is 40 euros and two means 80 euros so you win 30 euros, for the restaurant no one pressed you to do it. it's not good to touch to our face like this.
