Location

The riad is located in Fes in the heart of the medina, and the new city can be reached by car or bus in around 5 minutes. There are also a number of restaurants and shops all around the riad. The nearest beach is approximately 3 hours' drive from the riad and Fez-Sais Airport is around 15 km away.

Facility

10 junior suites, 4 suites and 10 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hairdresser. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service (for a fee).

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. A kitchenette with a microwave and a tea/coffee station is also provided as standard. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. For sports enthusiasts who wish to work out indoors, a gym is available for a fee. There is a wellness area with a spa and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests.     A peaceful spot just of a very busy market street. All rooms open onto the icovered inner court where breakfast is taken. Rooms are well appointed within but tend not to have a view. This Riad exudes an opulence from a past age. There is a spa and roof terrace but these seem to be closed at the time of the visit.

    In general the Riad was pretty much as advertised. Rooms were clean and large. There was a small cooktop and refrigerator, with a few kitchen utensils and a kettle for boiling water for tea or coffee, (neither were provided in the room). Wifi was spotty and often did not work in the room I was in. It was quiet at night, so no problems there. It is a beautiful building, but seemed to be catering mostly to large group tours. I don't think I would have booked this if I had not been traveling with a tour.

    What a stunning little hotel located in one of the souks. Beautiful inner courtyard with smallish but comfortable rooms. The staff are a delight and the service is fantastic. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and there is a good spread.Well worthwhile staying here.

    What a stunning building within the Medina in Fes! We had a lovely stay and ate both nights at the restaurant where we enjoyed traditional Moroccan food. In an excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff.Would definitely recommend for an authentic experience in Fes

    The best staff team ever I've experienced. Rather felt like visiting good old friends than being a guest. Kindest people, always ready to help. I wish every 2nd hotel had a team like this.The building is breathtaking. One extra point is when you leave the hotel, you just get into the middle of the Medina-lifestyle. Perfect.
