  A cool reception when we arrived, but the hotel was clean. The pool and pool area are kept clean and the breakfasts are very good indeed, with plenty of choice.The hotel demanded 200€ deposit in case of damage, which they said would be refunded when we left and the room had been checked. I paid this with my UK debit card. The money was debited straight away. After two days I had still not received the money back, so I rang the hotel, who told me that because it was a UK card, I would have to wait a month. I stayed polite but was really put out with their pathetic excuses, and this left a very sour taste in my mouth. Having contacted the bank, they told me that I would have the money back within a week, which I did, but beware!   Very nice hotel, just mind the extras

  The hotel is excellently located, on the quiet side of a quiet town next to a vineyard. The rooms are large (duplex) , well appointed and clean. All the amenities gave a well maintained impression. Only real gripe was the extra cost for parking: €15 per day or €40 per day for a space next to a charger. That seemed extortionate, especially since you can just park in front. It has the advantage of being private and secured by a digicode, and we remain convinced that this offer remains a real advantage and contributes to a serene stay.   A little paradise!

  We (me, my wife and my two 15 year old twins) stayed in this nice boutique hotel for 2 weeks in August 2024. For us, it was an ideal location in Set Marie de Ré with nice rooms and a very friendly team. We rented bikes directly at the hotel and took the upgrade to have a little kitchen area for dinner independence. Sure, there are very nice restaurants on the island, but the evenings on our terrace were best! We will come here again!   Fantastic, eco-friendly hotel for a family holiday

  We went for a 5-day family holiday with our 2 tween/teenagers and had a great time. The hotel was very welcoming and comfortable. We made good use of the warm swimming pool. Breakfast was good. The rooms were simple, clean, had everything we needed and everything had been thought through and worked perfectly.   Fantastic small family friendly hotel

  Fantastic small friendly hotel. staff were excellent, welcoming and always helpful .Bike hire available at a good price .breakfast fantastic with local produce .bar service available all day and light snacks and light meals also available. Small pool great for children and cooling off .close to a beach with rock pools .hotel surrounded by vineyards with glimpses of the Atlantic near by . short walk to a lovely town. Free bus service locally and regular buses to other towns on the Island and La Rochelle.
