Great place to stay if on a budget.

This place is in a great location and you couldn't ask for a better management. The room are small but the beds were nice. They let us keep our bags there for 3 days when we went out on a tour. They also have a very nice balcony where you can order food and drink.

    Issues but staff attentive

    rating07 Jan 2015

Location was excellent, straight down the street to the main square, easy access to all main sites in the old city. Helpful staff. Wifi worked in room. Initially we were put in a tiny room that barely fit the bed and the heater didn't work. The shower was in the toilet basically and when i had a shower I flooded the whole room. We complained the next day and got put into a triple room. This was much more comfortable, the heater worked and the bathroom was much bigger and didn't flood. Staff in the cafe where you get breakfast are not very attentive but if you take a hotel staff member with you they will get what you need instead.

I like one of workers! Definitely would return just because of him.

I visited like 4-6 other low-budget places. All places really LOW-BUDGET, but then again, I came not to enjoy comfort, but experience local culture, people. All my recommendations are totally relevant to me: solo full-immersion to local culture person, not comfort guaranteed future seeker. I took this place because of very religious worker in that hotel, I simply liked him, I felt sympathy. In general country is poor, so I didn't rise any expectation about comfort and so this hotel suite me just fine.

    average, not fantastic

This was really a budget hotel. The first night we had the room next to the hotel reception. It was a very noisy room, lot of noise from the street. The next day we could get a room one level higher, wich was more quiet. The shower was indeed difficult to get the right temperature on. The breakfast is in the restaurant that belongs to the hotel and the staff there was horrible. Because it was december it was also very cold at breakfast, the doors were wide open to fresh up the place after the night before. The staff of the hotel was frendly, except for the fact that one guy from the hotelreception tried to contact one of my teenage-daughters by facebook (after he read her name in her passport), this is not a very professional thing to do!The rooms and bedsheets where clean. The location is very good, everything is at the hand: The big square Jan mee, the souks etc.

    Horrible hotel

    rating21 Apr 2012

Being seasoned budget travellers we have seen quite a few hotels. Our standards are not particularly high, but this hotel was terrible. We got a room (no. 14) on the same floor as the hotel reception. Was very moist, cramped, dirty and above all: noisy.Since we were to leave early in the morning we asked if we could have breakfast before 7 am, which wasn't a problem according to the employee at the reception. However, the next morning everything was closed and we got a big mouth from the nightshift-employee, saying it is 'not his problem'.Only positive thing about this hotel is its location right next to Jemaa El Fna.
