    Ahead of its time...

Great hotel! Only has 12 suites, service is you get what you pay for. Awesome planning, needs to wait until the rest of the area is developed. It's owned by, and part of the same complex as Club Pacha. Has 2 bars & restaurants on premise, and a nice looking pool area. Each suite has a rooftop patio as well! Awesomely views.

    All style but no substance

    rating08 Aug 2015

At first glance a great hotel, everything looks stylish, clean modern etc. The problems don't lie with the look though it's the fact that the service levels are so poor. We arrived late July, the restaurant & Rose Bar were both shut for the duration of our stay. We were not made aware of this prior to stay and no real reason or apology was given while we wee there. A shame as we had planned to have dinner & drinks there on first night so had to make other plans. The pool bar was open but asking for service was like pulling teeth. Very disappointing as the pool itself was beautiful and perfect for chilling out by all day but ordering drinks etc was awful. Ordering one bottle of wine took over half an hour! Drinks prices extortionate too.In regards to the actual hotel, you kind of feel that once you're there you're on your own, not a massive presence of staff and when you do speak to anyone you're left with no confidence that they have understood. On top of this beware that you will be charged for absolutely everything. Rooms have coffee machines but you will be charged for every capsule you use. Each room has its own roof topterrace . Again could be great but with no furniture to sit on and a complete absence of room service it is essentially just a wasted space. In summary, this hotel has great potential but at the current service levels I would give it a max 2 stars. At times we just felt like we were intruding as if the place was close to actually closing down.

    Modern Marrakech

    rating26 Apr 2015

Marrakech is known for its cultural authenticity with its beautiful Riads and Souks..... If this is what you want out of your stay in Marrakech, probably not the best idea to stay at Crystal. As a modern juxtaposition to Marrakech's usual vibe, this resort is a fresh breath of air. If you're not impressed by the decor whilst walking to one of the 11 private rooms, wait til you get inside one, very spacious and very avant garde without the feeling of pretentiousness. Each room has a private balcony but who needs that when you have a private terrace upstairs with hot tub and sunloungers! The main pool looks as though it was in the middle of rural Marrakech but still contemporary with private cabanas, perfect setting for cocktails whilst they play chill out house music in the background. The Crystal restaurant was opulant with the main attraction being the suspended fireplace in the middle. I had l'escargot and if you're into trying different things I would recommend the. The Rose bar was another great conceptual place with a large gold bar, great for pre-drinks before Pacha. Pacha is great on a weekend with the music and overall atmosphere, if you stay at Crystal then your entry is included and there is no wait. Overall it was such a great stay and if I were to go to Marrakech again I probably would look to stay there.... A possible downside to Crystal is that it is a little bit out of the way but if you are staying on the resort the majority of the time then this place is fantastic!

    Excellent design !!!

    rating07 Aug 2013

For people that they love art and new experiences, Crystal hotel, is their place. It's not the morrocan style classical rooms, neither the modern business hotel room.Minimal design relaxing atmosphere and a unique way of lighting, through the roof. There are no windows but every room has its own terrace and roof garden. The style is modern and contemporary art is covering the walls from the entrance to the reception. Personnel is very helpful and they are trying their best, we had some communication issues (not very well spoken english). Room service wasn't the fastest but it was delicious. Breakfast even though I missed it they prepared me two big trays and I enjoyed it at the room. The design is something between Vine hotel in Portugal and Secret de Paris. Natural building materials, pebbles and thick curtains all around the room that are useful if you want to separate the bedroom from the living room or the bathroom entrance. The hotel is perfect for people partying at Pacha, while on Saturdays you enjoy the best music in town. So besides Saturday 's loud music the others day is like a normal hotel where you can enjoy your dinner at Crystal restaurant or the lounge bar. The rooms are really big, like apartments, spacious with comfortable beds and sofas. Each suite is differently decorated, lighting, colors and till now I visited already two, not so big difference. Next time I ll discover another one else.

    Great hotel!

We stayed at the Crystal hotel in order to go out to Pacha that evening. Pacha itself was dissapointing, but the Rose Bar and the Crystal Hotel were spectacular. Our room was a junior room, we had a roof terrace which had views over the Pacha complex. We has the most yummy continental breakfast, the staff were lovely, they couldn't do enough for us! We stayed by the pool next day just relaxing. I would recommend staying there, Pacha wasn't particularly good, but the hotel complex was superb!
