  A wonderful day at a beautiful hotel

  We had such a lovely time at Dar 73. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were all warm, friendly, and always happy to help. Their hospitality really set the tone for the whole stay.Breakfast was fab. It was different every morning, beautifully prepared, and served right to our table.Our room was great too. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the facilities were spot‑on, everything we needed and more. And the roof terrace… just beautiful. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city.Overall, Dar 73 has such a special atmosphere. Comfortable, charming, and run by people who truly care.   Exceptional Stay at Dar 73

  My adult daughter and I travelled to Marrakech mid-July and had an exceptional stay at Riad Dar 73. The staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The location was ideal; a 3-minute walk to the entrance of the Bahia Palace grounds, a leisurely 7-minute walk through the souks to Jemaa el-Fnaa, and a short distance to countless shopping and dining options ranging from budget to high-end. Our 10-minute taxi ride to the Majorelle Gardens cost 50MAD.The décor of Dar 73 is sophisticated and the amenities plentiful. On the ground floor, the dining and lounging areas include a cozy room perfect for playing a game or reading a book. The rooftop terrace was ideal for our morning breakfast and daily afternoon dips in the plunge pool. Breakfast was slightly different each morning but always delicious. Warm bread, fresh-squeezed orange juice, local honey, homemade jam, fruit, crepes, yogurt, tea and coffee, all served with a smile. The pool was one of the reasons we chose this riad and we took full advantage of the chance to get some relief from the heat. With plenty of seating on the terrace, it felt like a private oasis after the bustle of the souks. We didn’t use the spa facilities, but they appeared lovely and inviting albeit quite compact.We spent our first 3 nights in the Tizi'N Taaddat Junior Suite, opting for the 2-bed configuration. The room felt larger than it looked in the photos and was very nice. The beds, pillows and linens were of good quality and we slept well. While beautiful, the room is an open-concept style, so there is not a lot of privacy between the washroom area and sleeping area. The toilet is in its own room but the rest of the washroom is only divided from the sleeping area by a light curtain. This was not a problem for us but could be a consideration for other travelers. After three days in Marrakech, we headed out on a 3-day excursion through the mountains and into the desert. We liked Dar 73 so much that we decided to cancel a reservation we had for another riad that we had booked for our return, and to stay here again on our last few nights. Management even allowed us to leave our luggage with them so we only needed to take the small overnight bag required for the excursion. After our long trek, it felt like home when we arrived back at Dar 73. Our last two nights were spent in the Ouanoukrim Suite. Spacious and very nicely appointed, the highlight of this room was the charming balcony nook with a cozy bench seat. We opted to arrange transportation to and from the airport through Dar 73 and were very pleased with the service, especially for our 4:00am departure on our last day. The drivers were courteous and on time, and the vehicles spacious and air conditioned. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our visit to Dar 73 and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Marrakech. A huge “SHUKRAN” to our wonderful hosts.   Unforgettable and amazing Riad.

  Excellent location, close to the busy medina but in an alleyway which is very quiet. The Riad was very clean and the room was clean and towels changed every day. The breakfast was so tasty and a variety of food. A well done to the Team 73, Amine, Essaid, Fatiha, Khamissa and Rafika for making our staycation amazing and unforgettable.   Stayed a couple of nights with a friend.   Wonderful. A haven of tranquility a couple of minutes walk from the busy streets and souks. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Slept well every night followed by a delicious light breakfast. There's also a great in-house hammam. The sunny roof terrace is ideal for relaxing and has a plunge pool.
