Location

The hotel is located 5 minutes from the famous Jamaa el Fna Square, just by Bab Laksour (The Gate of Palaces). The lively souks with their Moroccan handicrafts and the Koutoubia Tower are just a short walk away. The Majorelle Garden is approximately 3 km away and the Bahia Palace is around 2 km away. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Marrakech-Menara International Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 5 rooms, including junior suites, suites, apartments, studios, single rooms and 4 double rooms. French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Bathrooms with wheelchair access can also be booked. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, a spa, a sauna and a solarium. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers snacks.

    If you visit Marrakesh this is the perfect place to stay

    We came across Riad Catalina via our TUI rep due to unfortunately our 9 month old daughter being taken unwell at the airport on our return. We was taken to hospital where she received treatment and we was discharged. We were left in Marrakesh with nothing. We managed to return to our original hotel however due to it being a Moroccan holiday whilst we were there the hotel was fully booked for the further 2 nights we needed to stay before returning home. We booked 2 nights at Riad Catalina not knowing what to expect but we needed somewhere to stay urgently. From start to finish I could not recommend this hotel enough. Nadia met us on arrival and we were met with warmth and friendliness straight away. We were provided refreshments and could just relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the hotel terrace after a stressful 24 hours. We were taken to our room which was stunning and perfect for what we needed. Our 2 nights here were short and sweet however we felt home from home. The hotel itself is beautiful with everything you could need. The terrace where you eat is so relaxing and looks magical at night. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and could not help enough. The food here was the best we’d had since arriving 10 days prior. We managed on our last day to go exploring after being discharged from the hospital and it is a perfect location for the market and the souks. The pool on the rooftop is so refreshing and has lovely views. Overall I would recommend Nadia and this hotel again and again without a doubt. Don’t miss out on staying here and meeting Nadia and the staff as you’ll regret it. We can’t wait to come back one day. Lots of love ❤️

    I had an incredible stay at Riad Catalina and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its stunning beauty — the charming architecture, the beautifully decorated rooms, and the tranquil courtyard create a truly magical atmosphere. The riad exudes authentic Moroccan charm, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale.What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff’s genuine warmth and willingness to go above and beyond. They treated me and my Dad like family, ensuring every need was met with kindness and care. Special thanks to Manager Nadia, whose attentiveness and welcoming nature made us feel right at home. Khalid and Muhammed were also incredibly helpful, always available to assist with anything I needed and offering valuable local tips to enhance my stay.Overall, Riad Catalina isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience filled with beauty, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Moroccan getaway!

    We had a great stay at Riad Catalina. Its a vary calm oasis and everything about it is high quality. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

    This beautiful, idyllic Riad was a joy to spend the week in. The staff were friendly, polite and so helpful. We received a free upgrade after a couple of days to a terraced room which was spacious and clean. The beds are so comfortable!! We had planned on eating out every night but after our first meal at the Riad, we had dinner there each evening. The food is incredible!! Authentic, full of flavour and reasonably priced. Could not recommend Riad Catalina enough!! If you want a therapeutic, relaxing place to stay in Marrakesh, stay here.

    Our stay at Riad Catalina was the best one ever! Nadia and her staff are the most attentive, caring and supportive people ever. They made our stay all the more enjoyable :) When we were pushed out of our initial hotel due to overbooking, Nadia and her staff truly took care of us at Riad Catalina. When I was sick, they supported me to the fullest. They also had a wide array of excursions. We went on the Ourika Valley one and it was the most fun. I’m so happy my family and I had the best experience with them in Marrakech. Ahmed Helimi, Service clients/Réception at Riad Catalina, responded to this review You can’t imagine the level of pleisure we have to read your comment. It is the best award we can dream of 🤩.
