  My wife, four-year-old daughter and I stayed at Dar R'mane for a week during Christmas and we couldn't have had a nicer stay. The facilities are classic, comfortable, and charming; the breakfasts were extremely yummy, with new dishes almost daily; and the hosts are incredibly lovely people. We really felt at home. If you're not familiar with the city, I'd recommend taking them up on their offer of arranging travel from the airport (taxi, and then a porter to bring your bags from the edge of the medina to the riad itself) because it's a bit maze-like when you first arrive. But you quickly get used to it, and we found that the location was perfect -- close to Djemaa el Fna but not too much in the thick of things; right on the edge of the souks, but also very close to the border of the medina, if you want to get a taxi to Nouvelle Ville, say. Really ideally located. We found Riad R'mane very randomly, searching listings on the internet, but we couldn't be happier with our choice. Can't wait to go back.

  We where met by the manager and his wife (?) and welcomed with the traditional min-tee. The manager did not speak english but tried to speak to us in arabic and french that we did`t understand. He told us that he had so many km to go from the Riad to his home but that he would prepare morning meal for us the next morning. At night, going for å sigarette, we found him sleeping at a couch in the Riad. He disoouvered us, and came knocking at our door trying to explaine, but we did not open. We found the guy greepy and changded our stay for the rest of the period staying in Marrocco.   An incredibly lovely place to stay inside the Medina - I highly recommend it to everyone!

  Bernard and Monique were lovely - they had lots of suggestions for us and made our stay so pleasant - Mohammed and Rachida are wonderful and absolute gems! Dar R'mane is so lucky to have these two amazing people - they were always so courteous and helpful and we honestly were so sad to leave!

  Lovely place to stay! Highly recommend everyone to stay there. Reasonably priced and amazingly quiet for the Médina.Rooms are cosy and service is perfect!Mohamed was incredibly nice, friendly and helpful!Don’t forget to grab breakfast in the terrace, you will not regret it.Looking forward to comeback there next time :)

  best place to stay in Marrakech!

  The loveliest place we stayed at during the trip! Mohamed & Rachida are incredibly friendly & nice: welcoming us with mint tea & Marrakech sweets, giving us a perfect Moroccan breakfast in the beautiful patio (everything fresh & homemade & something a bit different every day; when we had to leave at 7 one morning, we got a full breakfast at 6:30!), always available for a chat or some advice. When we returned from a trip back to Marrakech, it really felt like coming home. The location is also very good (in the northern part of the Medina, just 5 min walk from Jamma el Fnaa), WLAN always worked well & the rooms are beautifully designed. If we come back to Marrakech, we will always stay there!
