  Wonderful 3 night stay at Dar Seven. Ilias and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and helpful with every query. They recommended a lovely local hammam and even helped with arranging our transfer to our next destination in Morocco. Great selection and quality of breakfast. Located in the medina but in a quieter area so very peaceful.

  Wonderful Riad and an Amazing Staff.

  Beautiful riad with an amazing staff. Ilias helped us in so many ways. He is very focused on his guests’ comfort and experience. He met our car with a porter for our luggage. The gentleman loaded the 9 year old into the cart as well! Ilias arranged to have dinner brought in for us when we arrived in the evening. Breakfast in the courtyard was amazing every day. When my small daypack got a tear, a kind staff member found matching (bright pink!) thread and sewed it up. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are amazing with giant, deep tubs. The entire road was exceptionally clean, and daily housekeeping was great. Ilias booked a wonderful hammam for us. He also escorted us to our car at 5am — and again at 8 am for separate flights. A small problem with one room was quickly addressed in spite of the late hour. The rooftop view across Marrakech is nice and the stars are amazing. Easy walk to souks, restaurants, hammams, and historic sites. I hope to go back soon.

  Nice boutique riad with amazing hospitality

  We had an amazing stay at Dar Seven on our recent trip to Marrakech. The riad is in a great location, with a lovely sense of place. The service and hospitality from Ilias and his team takes the experience at Dar Seven to another level. They are warm, friendly and go above and beyond with suggestions and assistance. Any time we had a question, needed something or had a small issue, they were so quick with a response and suggestions/help. I can't say enough about how much the people elevated our entire stay. The two things to know if you're looking here, are that there are lots of stairs (we had a room on the 2nd floor, and one on the roof/3rd) in case there are mobility issues. There is a room on the ground floor. Cars also can't pull up right outside, you have a 5-7 minute walk from the closet drop off area. Ilias and the team met us at that point to help with luggage and navigation, and helped us with luggage upon departure. This is common in the old areas of Marrakech, just noting for anyone who may need door-to-door car access. Breakfast was robust and lovely each morning, the rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The view from the roof was lovely, you can see the Atlas mountains on clear days. All in all, so happy we found Dar Seven for our second trip to Marrakech.

  Disappointing Stay and Unresolved Issuet

  We stayed at Dar Seven for our final night in Morocco. We booked the Loggia Suite, paying a premium specifically for the in-room bath, which was a key reason for our reservation. Unfortunately, the hot water in our room did not work that evening, making the bath completely unusable.To their credit, the on-site staff were courteous and made efforts to troubleshoot the issue for over 30 minutes. Late in the evening, we requested access to another room so we could shower, which they accommodated via a shower on the rooftop. However, this did not address the fact that the primary amenity we paid extra for was unavailable.After the stay, management acknowledged that a boiler malfunction caused the issue and offered a future stay incentive instead of a partial refund for the affected night. As we do not plan to return to Morocco for the foreseeable future, this did not resolve the matter. Despite multiple follow-ups requesting a reasonable partial refund, no resolution was provided.Equipment issues can happen, but ensuring that paid accommodations and advertised amenities are functional is the responsibility of the property. Paying full price for a room when its defining feature is unusable does not align with standard hospitality practices.While the staff on site were kind, the way the situation was ultimately handled by management was disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this property.

  My stay at Dar Seven for my birthday getaway was honestly a dream from the very first moment. As soon as I stepped into the riad, it felt like I’d slipped into my own private world; calm, intimate, and unbelievably quiet. It’s so peaceful it almost feels like it’s set in its own secluded landscape. No noise, no chaos… just pure tranquillity.I stayed in The White Room, which was the perfect sanctuary. Elegant, bright, and soothing; the kind of space that instantly resets your mind. And the personalised amenities were such a thoughtful touch. It made me feel truly celebrated and cared for, adding an extra layer of magic to my birthday stay.The housekeeping team was exceptional. My room was kept immaculate every single day; fresh, pristine, perfectly arranged and that consistency made my stay feel effortlessly luxurious.And then there’s Ilias. The heart and soul of the experience. His hospitality was on another level; warm, intuitive, and so genuine. He secured the best five-star restaurant reservations, guided us to incredible Marrakech experiences, and organised beautiful surprises that made me feel beyond appreciated. His entire team mirrored that same graciousness and care.When it comes to value for money, Dar Seven goes above and beyond. You receive luxury, serenity, heartfelt service, and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.Would I return?YES. YES. AND ABSOLUTELY YESSSS!Already dreaming about my next visit.
