A very nice Riad in an excellent location

    rating21 Feb 2025

This is a very nice Riad which is located close to the main square, Medina and the new town. We enjoyed the breakfast provided. The owner was friendly and helpful. We had an amazing night's sleep. There is a nice roof terrace. We would recommend this Riad.

    Unpleasant stay

    rating25 Jan 2024

My wife and I were excited to stay here after reading all the amazing reviews, especially after a long journey from the Sahara. However, it fell far short of our expectations. We arrived around 6PM and when we rang the bell, the owner opened the door and rushed us in, telling us we're "late." We sat down, registered, paid the city tax, and were sent off to our room. During this whole process, his demeanor was very unfriendly. Not once were we offered help with our bags. The room is quite small for two people, but is beautifully decorated, especially the bathroom. There was some miscommunication regarding the bed type, but housekeeping quickly fixed it the next day (converted two twins into one double). The worst part of the experience was the shower. After being in the Sahara for 4 days, we wanted to take a nice hot shower. After 15 minutes, all the hot water ran out and we had to wait until the next morning to shower again. We didn't even experience this in guesthouses on the way to the Sahara. We were gaslighted and told the shower can accommodate 3 people showering in one night. The breakfast was actually quite delicious with lots of variety (yogurt, eggs, fruit, crepes, and other local specialties). Aside from during breakfast time, all of our interactions with the owner were quite unpleasant and we sensed a lot of attitude from him. This was by far the worst accommodation during our 2 week stay in Morocco.

We stayed at Dar Tasnime during the three days we were in Marrakesh. It was a perfect place for us. The owner was kind, knowledgeable about the area, and has had an interesting life. The accommodation was clean and beautiful. Wifi and air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was nice and the location was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to go.I would recommend this place to all my friends and family and I would suggest you book this place too.

    Amazing!

    rating26 Apr 2023

An amazing Riad, (Moroccan House) and the owner is very warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to all of the attractions and still tucked away on a calm street. The place is very safe, we felt comfortable waking outside at any time. We’re felt that the rooms were bigger than they seemed in the photos! And the bathroom is huge, we were really impressed. They also have a cosy roof where you can sit and enjoy your time (if the weather is good).Breakfast was great, the owner took time to explain the traditional Moroccan food that we asked about. He also told us about a company that books train tickets and delivers them to your hotel, a great time saver!
