  Lovely quiet hotel with very comfortable bed

  Our second stay at this hotel for a skiing holiday - it's in a quiet location in the resort, so no noise from evening revellers, and we had a pretty view of Lac Miroir, but the resort is small so it's very quick to walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars (& just a 2-min walk round the Tour de Voyageurs hotel to get to the resort's cabriolet lift). The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are lovely (we had a 1-bedroom apartment, with king-size bed, huge living area, and full kitchen). Everything is very clean, the shower is lush, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. There are ski lockers but we didn't use them: as a hotel guest you get free access to the Ski Valet at the bottom of the main gondola lift, which means you can avoid lugging your skis between the hotel and lift every day. The included breakfast is basic but jolly decent nevertheless. And there's a free bus to St Jovite for stocking up at the supermarkets if you require more than the resort's general store has to offer. We'll be returning!

  Nice hotel in an excellent position

  My son and I were in Mont Tremblant from England for 4 days skiing and decided to book a "suite" (room 213) at the Ermitage du Lac so we had a room each. He took the bedroom with 2 queen beds and I used the living room with a double sofa bed. We both had separate access to a shared bathroom so this was an ideal set up.The room was well equipped for self catering (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, full sets of crockery/cutlery etc) which we did not use as we ate out on an evening. The room was warm and cosy with a log effect fire.Staff were efficient and friendly. My only criticism was that the room was not ready for us until 4pm which is quite late.Breakfasts were fine, regardless of some of the reviews on here. OK it was not a 5 star experience but you get what you pay for, As the hotel does not have any public cooking facilities, the choice was pre prepared and consisted of, hard boiled eggs, meat, cheese, fruits, yogurt, pastries (including traditional croissants - contrary to earlier reviews) good selection of breads/bagels jams, cereals etc. Coffee and tea were available all day in the breakfast area. There is no bar in the hotel which seems strange but with a huge selection of bars, restaurants and cafes within 400 meters, this is not a problem.A ski locker room is available at no extra charge.There is a very small fitness room and a hot tub available in winter and a pool for the summer season.All in all a great hotel which is around 80 meters from the small lift which takes you up to the main ski lifts in a couple of minutes

  Highway Robbers! Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially the hidden non refundable tax recovery fees. Same experience as any generic roadside motel at 4X the price.

  Good hotel ... free breakfast not worth it!

  Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom looked renovated. The bed is ok, but only one type of pillow which does not suite everybody posture. The free breakfast is very basic (bread, jam, cream cheese, juice, ham, fruit salad, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, apples and some muffins and croissants) and was the same for both days we were there. The breakfast area has very limited seating capacity and fills up very quickly. The staff at the reception desk is very helpfull and cheerful, however the breakfast room staff looked overwhelmed and could afford to smile a little :)

  Disappointing Customer Service and Billing Issue

  We had to cancel our reservation due to a severe flu that affected our whole family. Although the hotel’s policy clearly states that only one night will be charged even in the case of a no-show, we were charged for the full stay—despite canceling in advance via Booking.com as instructed by hotel staff.I called the hotel multiple times and was told each time that a message would be left for the manager. However, no one ever called back or followed up in any way. I kept calling in hopes of resolving the issue directly, but it felt like my concerns were being ignored. I’m now disputing the charge with my credit card—a frustrating and time-consuming process that could have been avoided if the hotel had simply honored its own cancellation policy and communicated responsibly.
