  Very satisfied with my stay in Hotel Des Artistes! Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. It’s in an excellent location in Rome as it’s very close to Termini train station. Very convenient for getting from Fiumicino Airport or to visit the main tourist attractions in Rome using the metro system. Christine was the name of the receptionist and she was very courteous giving us a complimentary map and recommending restaurants nearby.The rooftop balcony is also a highlight. A very relaxing space to head to after a day of touring!   Visited this hotel mainly based off the reviews. We were shown to the black next to reception to a room which look so tired. Dark and dingy but gave it a go as we know we wouldn’t be there that long due to having a busy itinerary. It was clean and breakfast was ok however a number of issues we encounter. Poor water for showering. Sometimes hot but not good pressure. Toilet struggled flushing as water pressure was poor. Lighting in room was dated and reminded me of going to my Nans in December in the dark. Reception staff were helpful but didn’t feel the hotel was welcoming and home from home. Functional but not comfortable.   Fabulous stay!

  My mother and I stayed for one night after our flight back home was cancelled. The hotel was centrally located close to Termini (and 3 minutes walk from the Metro), but in a quiet street. We had a room facing the courtyard and was very happy. Also loved the note we got with suggestions for sights, including how to get there. Due to the oil crisis the city had put restrictions of the use of AC, and the window only opened partially. But the receptionist was super accommodating and got us a fan. Another service level! Breakfast was good, bed comfortable and the room was very clean.
