    Perfect weekend to recharge the soul

    The location was perfect for us, near the village's center yet remote and secluded from all hustle and bustle. The room was super clean, with all necessary amenities. The common areas were also clean and beatifully decorated in a rustic and authentic style. The atmosphere in the common area was very cosy. The service was impeccable, the hosts went above and beyond in tending to our needs. They even provided us with a shuttle service in their personal 4x4. The food was amazing, especially the harira. I'd recommend in a heartbeat and will definitely go back.

    Afternoon tea at the fabulous Hotel Le Village du Toubkal

    With my friend Helen, we were in Imlil to train berber Mountain Guides with the UIAA Mountain Hiking Skills at the nerby Kasbah du Toubkal.For a group familiarisation walk on Day 1 of the course, I thought we'd walk up to the Hotel Le Village Du Toubkal for aftenoon tea - mint tea of course.On arrival the Duty Manager welcomed us all warmly and showed Helen and I the various rooms which were very well furnished and all were spacious.mint tea was duly served to Helen and I and our 8 local Mountain Guides and we sat on the spacious sun terrace whilst going over the syllabus and in preparation for our three day trek over to the Azzenden Trekking Lodge to the west.I'd certainly like to stay here!!!

    We were originally supposed to be at the Kasbah du Toubkal but Covid happened and the earthquake… so the team were good enough to suggest this. It’s their sister property and from what I can gather, just as good (we snuck a peak at the Kasbah while they were rebuilding). Consider this a boutique hotel. The grounds aren’t as expansive (you won’t get the Kasbah’s beautiful gardens) and that’s ok. The views are just as stunning on the terrace / from your rooms. Rooms and toilets are massive. Ours came with a huge tub so perfect for a warm soak after a long hike. Toiletries are basic - you are given a small bar of soap so bring what you need. There’s wifi and the mobile signal is surprisingly strong. But what really makes the place aside from the good food (that chicken tajine with the preserved lemons is yums!) is that warm Berber hospitality - evident from the time you arrive, until you leave. Service is informal but attentive and very friendly. The majority of the staff speak basic English so just be a little patient. By the end of our stay, they started to tease/joke with us and that was lovely. We truly felt so welcomed by everyone. Special place, worth a visit.

    Hidden gem in Imlil

    Such a hidden gem in the middle of Imlil, calm and very clean property, a place to chill and also if you are planning for a walk or even to climb the atlas mountains.The people working there are fabulous, the food is to die for. I highly recommend this hotel.

    I was always wondering if the Auberge is the same as the pictures because it looks charming, and I decided to go with my friends, and the surprise was everything is REAL, they were so so welcoming specially Mr SAID , prices are reasonable, the space clean and clear and have a wonderful panoramic view ... ABSOLUTLY i will come back after Ramadan ...
