Believe all the bad reviews they are true

    rating06 Jun 2026

Where should I start, well if I could get a flight home now I would.Rooms are so bad we changed room 3 times before we finally gave up and said this will have to do.Floors are absolutely filthy all dirt around the edge of the room, towels full of black stains all frayed around the edges, aircon leaks of water, patio doors dont lock or even close properly as they are on the wrong way around the outside door on the inside and vice versa, patio furniture all falling apart. And now for the bathroom....OMG, the workmanship is dreadful, the shower screen is from a cubicle and has been screwed to the wall I said the shower tray, it isnt marble either its marble effect tiles, the bathroom door scrapes along the floor, the shower taps look like they have never been washed as the chrome is just covered in limescale. There is no control around the pool I managed to get in it for about 15 mins before I decided to get out as there were 2 or 3 groups of people just playing loud music, nothing said, you cant get in and out of the pool by the steps as you just have a bunch of people around 10 of them thinking its love island, so glad we leave tomorrow. Not sure where the 4 star comes from maybe there was a blind rep who visited when it was actually closed, because it definitely isnt, I wouldnt even give it 1 star.No rooftop terrace, not seen the spa or I door pool, even though it says there is all 3.....!!!!!!Breakfast had been the same everyday we have been here, I am sure it is the same hotdogs sausages in some kind of sauce since day one.I could probably go on and on but I dont thinknid be able to post as it would crash trip advisors server. The atlas view room, now to me that would be a view of the mountains but no its a view of the main road, pool view room yes you can see the pool along with all the building works and derelict buildings behind the hotel. The pool, so they advertise the niagra falls wall, which looks like its not had a drop of water in a number of years, so this hotel has 214 rooms so let's say a possible minimum of 428 guest and they only have 25 sunbeds, so unless your prepared to get a bed it would have to be pretty early before the live island crew take over the entire pool area.I really need to stop as still unfortunately got 1 more night here.Hopefully the aircon in our room in 218 hasn't flooded the floor again

Nice refurbished hotel in great location with the best happy staff.

A nice little hotel close to everything in a trendy area with many cafes nearby. We were allocated a street side room but requested any available upgrade room options. The lovely staff here were only too glad to assist us with that. Options given were pool view room (quieter) and the king suite which we chose (see picture). Every staff member is professional and so happy to help you. This is very refreshing. I’m 53 and easily walk into the main Jemaa Al-Fna square and back from this hotel saving on taxis. They have a help desk freelance rep to help arrange any trips. Breakfast is almost continental in our opinion with an attended omelette station. Bar prices are hotel prices but table service to your sun lounger is a nice touch. In summary, between the good sized peaceful pool and the staff and the recently refurbished rooms, we are very happy with our stay here as ‘semi - picky’ UK travellers. We would recommend this hotel for a poolside stay close to the action but not too close. Just right.

Really disappointed and spoilt a suprise birthday trip.

Unfortunately we chose this hotel as a long weekend package. The hotel is directly on a busy road, the hotel information state every room has a balcony (this was not true,) we had a view of the road. The bathroom was rundown and not very nice, the shower did not even have a top shower head. Night times were extremely noisy with tooting. The hotel info stated various food options this was also not true and we ended up dining out due to no alternatives. Most staff were polite and friendly and the pool area was ok. I would really ensure you read all reviews before choosing this hotel.

    Avoid Avoid Avoid

The hotel is dingy. The real let down is the pool area, which is filthy. The loungers are cheap plastic with no covers. The seating is semi derelict with cushions missing, dirty surfaces and really nowhere you would want to sit. In March 2026 there is building work disrupting the pool area. It was so bad that I left, even though I had paid in advance. Don't go!

Really lovely holiday and extraordinary value for money

    rating22 Jan 2026

I just do not understand the bad reviews for this place. We are 3 days into a 4 day holiday and having a fantastic time. We're from the UK and are used to Premier Inn standard hotels.Staff - absolutely lovely. They've looked after us so well. They really care about us having a nice time here. We arrived late and they couldn't have made us feel more welcome.Restaurant - we are staying half board and have had 3 fantastic evening meals so far, HIGHLY recommend the tagine. Menu is limited as out of season but the food has been super. Breakfast has been great too. The people writing about poor hygiene are frankly talking rubbish. I have had no hygiene concerns at all.Location - perfect. Loads of shops and walkable to lots of places. Very good supermarket.. turn right out of the hotel, and then right at the cross roads. They sell everything.Rooms - our room was really nice. Recently refurbished and felt very modern. TV, aircon, balcony, fridge, comfy beds with clean sheets, exactly what you'd expect. No kettle but would be cheap to buy one and leave it here. Also a safe would have been nice in the room.Wifi - free, fast and we had no connection problems at all. Bathroom - ok yes, this is our only negative... The bathroom was in DIRE need of updating. Maybe this is next on the refurbishment list?OVERALL - extraordinary value for money. Hotel has been a great base for exploring Marrakech and we would come here again (just get those bathrooms upgraded!)
