    We stayed at a this hotel for 4 days/3 nights. The hotel was beautifully presented. Beautiful gardens, authentic architecture and furnished beautifully. A tastes of Morocco without leaving the hotel, The food was very always lovely, authentic and well presented. The staff were very helpful. A special shout out to Salem (sorry I know this will be wrong spelling) from the hotel bar. He made us feel welcome from the very start of our trip and always went above and beyond making out time special, Definitely recommend this hotel.     An unpleasant stay, impaired by multiple shortcomings.

    I am not entirely sure how this hotel garnered a 5 star rating but it is far from this. Check in was slow and no single member of the team was paying much attention to this. We were just asked to sit and little indication of what happened next. The rooms were not all that clean with stains and marks everywhere, and the glass that allows vision from the shower into the bedroom was broken. Having the person who took the luggage up to our room ask for extra money and tips did not feel like a good look. The location is rather detached and outside of the main part of the city with a local taxi to be hailed to get to places but not totally inadequate - just a headache. The balcony door lock was totally broken and not working on one of our family member’s rooms and were informed this would be fixed promptly. It was not. We reported this but were told it had been assessed and fixed but magically remained broken for the entirety of our week long stay.The music was incredibly loud and easily heard from the room even with the balcony door shut. The balcony itself was pleasant to sit at, when music was not playing but that might be to some people’s tastes. A big issue that we had was with something simple - shower gel. One would assume that shower gel is in the realms of cleaners/janitors to replenish when it runs out. Alas, here it was not. We informed the cleaners we had ran out of shower gel and needed it refilled, to which we were told it would happen. We came back later on in the evening to find this empty. Later on in the evening, we had given a gentle reminder to a different cleaner that our shower gel was empty and for it to be replaced and we were met with the same response. In the rather humid weather, it felt inadequate to not have shower gel to clean ourselves with. The following day came and we had waited to see if the cleaners refilled the shower gel - it had not been. The same schtick occurred later in the evening when we were again informed someone would be by that evening to refill the shower gel. Surprise surprise, it didn’t happen. We had resolved ourselves to call down to reception that we had waited two whole days for something as small as shower gel and were told someone would be up in 5 minutes to refill this. It did not happen. We went down later on in the evening and spoke to the staff at reception and was told this would be immediately replaced but happened after a couple of hours. Suffice to say, the service was very poor.Food was subpar with nothing being standout at all. Buffet had a wide variety of food but nothing worth mentioning. I cannot comment on their spa or other facilities as we did not visit it. Staff felt rather cold at times. The design of the resort - in specific, the rooms - requires some level of upkeep. This was not apparent here. The stairs to the floors appeared flooded with water every afternoon or so, which I believe is from upper stairs being cleaned and water trickling down but presents a hazard. Checking out was simple and welcomed in this scenario.The service was poor, the food was substandard, the architecture in terms of the lobby was beautifully presented. The rooms were not. The overall personality and character of the property presents a very nice façade but it is superficial. I do not think it was worth the value to stay here.Would I stay here again? Hard no, and if I were ever to return to Marrakesh I would be looking elsewhere entirely.     Fantastic Experience

    We have just spent a week here as a couple and had an absolutely fantastic experience, from the moment you arrive the grounds and hotel are very clean and looked after and the staff offer a very warm welcome before giving you a tour around as your bags are taken to your room. From reading reviews we upgraded our room to a pool view which we would highly recommend, the house keepers are very accommodating if asked for more towels or water and clean/refresh the room to a high standard each day.On food - there is always a large selection for each meal with it being mainly Moroccan themed but also some pasta`s/pizza/European style dishes to cover everyone's taste`s with nibbles at the pool bar between lunch and dinner, the staff are also pleasant and quick to offer drinks or assistance if required with only one of our breakfasts being busier/having to wait a short time for dishes to be re-filled due to an extra 60 overnight guests that day. Some reviews mention there are a lot of birds that hassle you at meal times ...they are tiny little things the size of budgies with pleasant little chips that are scared to come within 6ft of you and are manly pecking crumbs off the floors outside if anything they add to the ambiance not subtract.The hotel and pool in general are kept very well taken care off with maintenance/cleaners/groundskeepers clearly visible at various times of the day, you will read reviews of people saying there are cracked tiles ...yes there are a few however keeping in mind 90% of the hotel flooring is tile and id guess over 20,000 tiles you are going to have the odd cracked ones which you also see maintenance address ...this is not an issue in the slightest in my eyes.The hotel is located a 10min drive for the centre of town with taxi`s available outside which the concierge will call over for you the local area again is clean and tidy with some local restaurants and a big shopping centre a 5 min walk away.The drinks were covered with our all inclusive band with only a short wait at either the pool bar or main bar at night for drinks and tasty well made cocktails on request and cold beers served by very friendly staff.We would like to thank the restaurant manager Moncif for ensuring our evening meals were enjoyable and bar manager Salim and Mr Nourdine for the exceptional hospitality each evening plus all the other staff for making sure we had a fantastic time and experience.
