    Stay clear

    rating30 Mar 2025

Be aware ☠️ Booked a wedding, they cancelled the booking, took a lot to get the deposit refunded, which they didn’t pay in full. Lost £3500, due to flights. Completely destroyed what was meant to be lovely experience I would recommend staying clear of these scam artists

Luxury Hotel? More Like a Desert Disaster

    rating28 Sept 2024

Our stay at this so-called "luxury hotel" in the desert was nothing short of a nightmare. What was meant to be a relaxing, high-end experience turned into a series of disappointments. First, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed completely untrained, and the hotel manager was downright condescending, even mocking guests when we raised concerns. Instead of offering any solutions, she acted as though we were the problem. The food? Don’t even get me started. Their “tagine du jour” should be renamed “tagine du nightmare.” Bland, and utterly tasteless. The breakfast was just as bad—limited options, no variety, and service so slow that we practically fell asleep waiting for our food.Noise was another major issue. Nonstop construction sounds ruined any chance of enjoying the terrace or the pool area. The place was marketed as a peaceful retreat, but it felt more like a construction site. Manager didn’t care about our complaint. The amenities were also below standard for a hotel that claims to be high-end. No fridge in the room, basic toiletries, and no spare plugs to charge electronics. To top it off, the hotel is incredibly difficult to get to, with barely any signage and a road that felt more like an obstacle course than a path to a "luxury" destination.Avoid at all costs—this place isn’t worth your time or money. Le Palais Paysan, Sales at Le Palais Paysan, responded to this review We sincerely apologize that your stay didn’t meet expectations. Your concerns about the service, food, amenities, and noise have been noted and will be addressed with our team. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by the construction and access issues, and we should have communicated better. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide the luxury experience we aim for. Thank you for your feedback; it helps us improve.Regards,

Terrible experience - avoid this hotel!

    rating27 Sept 2024

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this so-called "luxury" hotel. First of all, the service at lunch was painfully. Every time we requested something, we had to wait ages, as if they didn’t care whether we were taken care of or not. Items were forgotten. The food itself was below average. To top it off, the manager was shockingly rude. We bought a bottle of wine from duty-free and wanted to refrigerate it, only to discover there was no minibar in our room. When we asked if they could refrigerate it for us, the manager, with an air of complete smugness, refused. She condescendingly stated that at “luxury hotels,” guests don’t bring their own wine. Her only “solution” was to take a picture of the bottle and later decide on a corkage fee! Seriously? The entire attitude was unwelcoming and completely lacking any service mentality. We just wanted to enjoy the wine in our room, not in a public area. Some other things that also weren’t satisfactory: - Our request to get twin beds was not fulfilled and they tried to upsell us a different category. - Getting to the location is a nightmare. The dirt road is really rough. - There was noise throughout the daytime from a lorry pumping mud close to the pool.If you’re looking for a relaxing, guest-friendly experience, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This hotel clearly doesn’t understand hospitality.Despite it being high season, the hotel was deserted. I really question many of the good reviews. Not at all resembling our experience. Le Palais Paysan, Sales at Le Palais Paysan, responded to this review We’re truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback. Regarding the wine, we have a licensed bar offering a selection of bottles, and as per our policy, outside drinks are not permitted in the hotel. We understand there may have been some confusion, but this is a standard practice at most hotels including luxury properties. In addition, the room category you selected cannot accommodate twin beds, a detail clearly indicated during the booking process. We regret any inconvenience this caused. Also, we are pleased to confirm that a new, non bumpy road is now open for our guests. As for our reviews, they reflect the genuine experiences of many satisfied guests who appreciate our venue, service, and hospitality. We value your feedback and will use it to continue improving.

A Haven of Peace and Tranquility in Marrakech

    rating31 Jul 2024

My wife and I have been travelling to Marrakech for many years. We have just spent one week at Palais Paysan and it really is our favourite place. It's located outside a Berber village about 40 minutes from Marrakech but it is a haven of peace and tranquility. It's delightful. The hotel is immaculate and the gardens are beautifully manicured with fabulous views over the foothills ot the Atlas mountains. The staff are very pleasant, discreet and attentive. The restaurant food is excellent. We will soon be returning! Le Palais Paysan, Sales at Le Palais Paysan, responded to this review Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing to stay with us at Le Palais Paysan! We are thrilled to hear that our peaceful setting, stunning views, and attentive staff made your stay memorable. It’s wonderful to know that you found the hotel and gardens immaculate and enjoyed the dining experience at our restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another relaxing retreat!

    Secluded Serene and Relaxing

    rating10 Jul 2023

We stayed only 24 hours in Le Palais Paysan and regret we did not spend there mire days of our holidays!Booked ut as it turned that our holidays could last day longer than originally planned and last minute we added that stay there.Ot is the most picturesque and unique stay in the Marrakesh area. The secluded location in the elevated rural area makes you feel that you truly go away from the noise and buzz of the Medina. The view of all of the Atlas mountain chain, horses, wild birds and very green and well maintained hotel with great relaxing swimming pool loads of area to walk, beautiful scenery and horse stables. You can horse ride, go for horse trek outside the hotel and enjoy the silence of this retreat.Staff is amazing and super attentive. Rooms are immaculate and have very pleasant decor and the remarkable mountain view and dark starry skies.Foood we ate in the local restaurant was delightful and considering that you do not have any other option to dine in the local area, very reasonably priced and definately worth it.We even had a company of the friendly domesticated partridge that live in the hotel! Offcourse staff doesn't allow the bird to just come over to you unless you express you are happy for it to join you and walk nearby and talk to you while you dine and you can toss it few seeds. Before arriving we opt for the transfer from airport to the hotel. We send an email with the request and never received any onfirmation or acknowledgement of the request.Despite that driver was waiting for us just outside the arrivals with a printed laminated card with the name of the hotel. No response from hotel got us a bit worried on the way to Marrakesh however the service was there and was great. We really enjoyed our short dash into that serene and comforting space.Strongly recommend!
