    Hotel from hell

    Holiday from hell. The hotel was shut on arrival and looked like it was abandoned, we were told there was a gym an inside pool and spa yet that is no where to be seen. The outside pool has been closed for nearly a year and isn’t opening anytime soon, there are no lights turned on so it’s pitch black so we had to find switches ourselves , the corridors stink of weed, the entire hotel is abandoned and run down, no communication at all which leaded us to being locked out our hotel room, staff say they will be there all day but are gone by mid day. DONT BOOK I do not recommend.

    The place is in a great location and underground parking is available at €5 a day. Check in was lovely, helpful and professional. Our room was on the third floor and was pretty amazing for the price. It had a small kitchen, a lounge, a bedroom and a covered balcony. Everything we needed was there and the wifi was fine too. Exceptional value.

    We stayed in a studio appointment, which didn't have a balcony , but room was quite big and had everything we needed even a washing machine , a lot of the apartments were Spanish owned , they were all very friendly , the pool didn't open until 11 and then shut at 3 reopened again at 5 till 9 , every thing was at a slow pace in this resort , beautiful beach , and a few bars and resturants , nice place to relax.

    The pool was broken and we were unaware of this when we booked 2 weeks beforehand which meant we were limited to where we could relax in the sun.The apartments are in a great location, although now with the new airport the transfer time is 40 minutes by taxi!!! Aguas Salinas does need a bit of updating, there was nowhere to put your shampoo etc when showering.

    We came during Easter and it was very quite, more than expected. But in truth it did not bother us. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very nice, and came with sofa bed which my daughter slept on.Our only negative point was the lack of comfort of the mattresses, they were not very good. Broken sleep every night.But otherwise, everything was good. Excellent views from our apartment (4AB) looking onto the salt lakes and mud lake and beach.
