Disappointing stay at this over rated property.

    rating11 Mar 2026

We had a disappointing stay. The hotel is rated 4.5 stars and it is nothing more than a 3 star hotel. The reviews in Trip Advisor (which I usually trust) are also misleading. It has a 4 and half star trip advisor review. In my opinion not even a 3 star review. We arrived in late night at the hotel. There was no one at the front desk. There were hardly any lights which were switched on in the property or front desk area. The watchman showed us our room. Room was quite bad. Real old room which has not been refurbished in many years. It was a cold night and room was very cold, since insulation of this old room was poor. The pictures of the hotel are misleading. It is not a pretty property. The property is large in size but not well kept. Breakfast was just about OK. The hotel seem to be popular with French guests, as saw a few during breakfast. The location too is not good, far from main attractions. I am glad we had booked it for only 1 night.

    Beautiful peaceful haven

    rating02 Feb 2026

What a lovely little peaceful haven. I really can’t find anything negative to say about this place apart from the lack of snacks about for children. Needs an icecream fridge, crisps, chocolate etc. The grounds are stunning; the pools are perfect, the rooms are large and very traditional (we had a lovely patio area overlooking the pool), the staff couldn’t do enough for you - any transport you need or excursions they deal with everything. We visited for a friends anniversary party and they co-ordinated 3 days of parties, entertainment and food exceptionally well. We also had a massage which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you’re looking for a more traditional Moroccan stay away from the hustle and bustle.

    Paradise on Earth

    rating13 Sept 2025

After the hustle & bustle of the Medina, we checked into l’Oliveraie de l’Atlas. From the moment we arrived, we wished we had chosen to stay here for our entire time in Marrakech! The property is stunning, but what truly stood out was the warm and impeccable welcome from Nicolas and his team. One of the first things they told us was, “Consider this place your home.” And it really did feel that way.Although the estate features several villas and riads, it never once felt crowded. The grounds are vast, with breathtaking gardens and three beautiful pools, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation. Everywhere you look, the attention to detail is evident. Whether you prefer lounging in the sun, resting in the shade, unwinding by the pool, strolling through the gardens, or enjoying the view of endless olive groves from your balcony, you’ll easily find your own corner of paradise. The riads and rooms are striking, showcasing charming traditional architecture. Nicolas, the owner, is truly exceptional—his care and dedication made us feel like cherished friends rather than guests. He goes above and beyond to ensure that every experience, from excursions to special requests, is arranged with trusted providers so you can simply enjoy. And there’s still so much more to mention: the food was delicious, the spa treatments were heavenly, and the staff couldn’t have been more professional and kind. We’ll definitely be returning—if for no other reason than to visit Lisa, Nicolas’ delightful dog, whom we already miss!

    AVOID. Just AVOID.

    rating14 Jun 2025

Don't book this hotel!! Just don't. It's dirty, messy, rooms have dreadful plumbing and leak all over the place. They pretend to have high speed internet but it drops out, is slow, utterly unreliable. Supposedly quiet but crying babies everywhere, staff were slow, food was average at best and if you think "all inclusive", it'snot. Breakfast is trash, lunch is from a basic menu and dinner is off a menu which takes ages to order and receive. No snack options through the day and the drinks are CHARGEABLE. The positive reviews are either fake or by people who have never been to actual decent hotels. AVOID.
