    Give this one a miss

    rating02 Mar 2026

I looked at the reviews before I went. It was a package deal. I thought that it could not be as bad as the reviews as some were excellent. But believe me, it was bad. The room was grotty in the extreem. Bathroom was seriously in need of a re-fit. Whole hotel needs a refurbishment.Reception were ok, I had to ask for towels, etc. They always got them for me, but why do they not put them in the rooms. My room was cleaned once in 10 days. The bed was only made that once. Breakfast is the bigest joke, if the coffee is cold then you have to put it in the microwave. I asked every day for an omlette but not once was it forthcoming. You had to pay extra anyway! This hotel is really bad. There are a few plus marks though. Next door is one of the best cake shops ever and I went and got my breakfast pastries every morning and enjoyed them in the dining room. There is also a MacDonalds only a two minute walk away. And the bus service to the Square is on the end of the road. Private taxi was 200dh, shares taxi was 70dh but the bus is 5dh....bus every time.Would I stay here again...no never. Do not get sucked in by the good reviews....they are, in my opinion, wrong.

Don't know why there is so many negative reviews

    rating28 Nov 2025

When I read all the negative reviews for this hotel, I won't lie, I was very skeptical about arriving. We arrived late, around 9 pm, and the check-in was very smooth. We went to our room, and it was spotless. The decor was traditional Moroccan. The bathroom was nice and clean, as were the beds and towels. The beds and pillows were comfy. The staff were always helpful and courteous. We had breakfast once, and it was lovely. A nice traditional Moroccan breakfast. The English tea brand they use is really good as well. We stayed here a full week, and we loved every minute of it. You pay for what you get. It is a budget-friendly hotel. I don't understand the level of awful reviews this hotel has because our experience was so good. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels refreshed every day. It has a safe that you need to pay for, but it's not expensive at all, and a fridge. I think some people just expect too much when they pay a budget price. Please don't pay heed to the reviews and come experience it for yourself. I will definitely be back. It's in a great location near everything.

    Inconsistent standards.

    rating15 Oct 2025

We stayed here for a couple of days before our Intrepid tour and a couple of days afterwards. The rooms are variable, some fine, others not. Staff were inconsistent- some quite helpful, others rude and unhelpful. No filtered water available to guests. They just point vaguely in the direction of nearby shops and cafes if you need water or coffee even if you arrive late evening. We had difficulty with our prearranged transport to airport on our last morning and were unable to call anyone with our data only eSIMS. When we asked Reception for help they were dismissive as it wasn’t their problem. Even though they get a lot of business through the tour companies that arrange transfers. Returning to Reception 10 minutes later we were fortunate to encounter a different person who kindly agreed to make calls for us and sorted things out.

This is a scam hotel, never ever come !!!

    rating12 Oct 2025

This is a scam hotel! Never ever come!!!We booked two double rooms. When we arrived in the afternoon, they lied, claiming that the rooms had no electricity. They told us they had a 'better' hotel for us, but they ended up taking us to a motel that looked like a refugee camp, right next to a construction site.We refused to check in, but they wouldn't refund the money and insisted we file a complaint with Agoda. Agoda was just as useless, using a stalling tactic with a non-stop, repetitive AI customer service loop—delaying, delaying, and delaying everything. They rigidly insisted on waiting for a call or email reply from this fraudulent riad before proceeding, dragging it out from 'wait ten minutes,' to 'wait one day,' to 'wait two days,' and finally to 'wait for the riad reply,' until we heard absolutely nothing. They are just as despicable as the scamming motel! They have clearly become an accomplice to this fraud!

The experience was just ok. The rooms need some upgrading. The bathrooms were nice. The breakfast was a bunch of bread products so I wish there would have been some warm food.
