  Clean & location right off a highway.

  The location was perfect for where we were going. We stayed two nights. The hotel is older & needs some updates. The staff were all friendly & welcoming. We stayed on the third floor. It was quiet but we did hear the people in the next room a few times. The room was clean but the sheets on one queen bed had large holes in it. They refreshed the room the next day. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with a large selection of food items. Coffee bar was open all day. What was nice was a small selection of microwave meals & snacks in the lobby. Large parking lot.

  Horrible room

  - Do not take room 128 if you have mold allergies or sensitivities - We arrived around 9 pm this past Saturday night with our kids. When I checked in, I already got a bad vibe from the front desk employee but I brushed it off since it was late. After getting our keys, we walked to the room and immediately slapped in the face with an overwhelming musty scent. So strong my husband was the first to say something before me. I immediately scanned the room and found rust, water damage and mold growth. I walked to the front desk not even 5 minutes after and asked if we can be switched as the room was not safe due to its condition. She said they were booked, so I asked if I could be refunded so we may look for a safer option and she said no. Didn’t even call to ask the manager, she assumed the manager would say no. I told her it was unsafe and welcomed her to go to the room to check. She didn’t come to check of course. I did book third party, so I contacted Chase to discuss our options and inform them of the quality of the room and situation. We ended up checking out just a few minutes after since we have family members with diagnosed mold allergies. We drove our family to the new Hyatt House just down the street and so glad we did. The Hyatt is a world better, the desk employee was amazing, the room was clean and air quality was great. We were very upset with his Holiday Inn treated our situation. Chase will be escalating our case and we hope to receive our refund.   Decidedly average and disappointing

  We needed to stay in the area for one night and chose this hotel on a recent Saturday. We were greeted pleasantly enough at the front desk though all of the staff we encountered throughout our stay were decidedly low-energy. (By the way, we observed the cookies on display behind the counter. Were we supposed to have been offered one? We were not). Usually, we receive a welcome gift at a Holiday Inn Express, presumably due to our loyalty account, but we did not at this property.The room was basic and generic. We had booked a room with a king bed but were given a room with two doubles. As we were tired, we didn't go back down to change rooms and kept the room as assigned. The room was basic but had what we needed. We noted that the mini refrigerator leaked water on the tile floor consistently. Additionally, the window covering was ripped. Otherwise, the room was fine.Breakfast the next morning was disappointing. On offer was a pancake machine, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, turkey sausage patties, pork links, cereals, breakfast breads, cinnamon rolls, yogurts and rubbery hardboiled eggs. We had a bit of breakfast and went back upstairs to shower and dress. We stopped back into the breakfast room a bit later (still in the throes of the breakfast hours) only to find the breakfast meat pans completely empty. Additionally, where there had once been containers for peanut butter and cream cheese was now empty space - rather than refilling, the attendant apparently simply removed the containers. Thus, we were denied any topping for our breads.There are many other hotels in the area, including other Holiday Inn Expresses. I think we would choose another property in the area before returning to this one.   Excellent place to stay! No complaints!!

  This hotel was excellent in every way! The rooms and the entire hotel was very clean. We stayed in a double queen bed room. The room was well designed. Had large screen TV, AC, microwave, mini fridge, desk, and plenty of charging ports for electronics. Bathroom was very clean and had fan. Rooms were cleaned every day. There is a gym on the first floor and plenty of free parking. There is a daily free breakfast buffet from 6:30am-9:30am with a great selection (omelets, boiled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, home fries, biscuits, bagels, toast, English muffins, gluten free bread, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, tea). Food was fresh and tasted good. Staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. And it is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM DORNEY PARK! Excellent place! Would definitely stay there again.

  In town for Muhlenberg. Across the street from Dorney Park. Right off I78. 5 minutes from Muhlenberg College. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast and coffee. Staff got back to me via online texting feature during snowstorm Feb 2025 to help us navigate our way in.
