    Attractive riad in quiet location

    This is a lovely place to stay in my opinion, we loved staying in a traditional place. We visited in October and so the upper terrace was closed, though we took a peep and it looked a beautiful place to sit and relax. The central pool is pleasant. A small number of bedrooms makes this place quiet and tranquil, there was plenty of hot water and the beds were very firm, but comfortable. English is not spoken much by the staff, though we had no trouble understanding and being understood, so it's a good chance to brush up on your French! The staff are very friendly and will do all they can to accommodate, you just have to ask. The location by a gate means easy access to taxis and transfers, and it was easy for us to explain where we were located which we came to appreciate in the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

    Everything about this riad is top notch. If you are looking to experience the authentic traditional life in Marrakech, Riad Al Anouwar is the place! The riad is walking distance to Medina, Jemaa el-Fnaa square and most other tourist attractions in Marrakech. I was greeted with warm smiles, Moroccan tea and a beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable room with great amenities. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff--Younes, Yassine and Khadija; they are amazing! They made me feel like I had joined a family. I'm already planning my next visit.
