    The hotel is lovely. The staff is kind and attentive. The location of hotel is in an isolated area of an industrial city. The general manager is awful. When 6 of 8 of us on a 5 day retreat got sick with food poisoning after dinner on the first night, I asked the manager what he was going to do to help us. He said no one had got sick at hotel before and that we had “sensitive stomachs.” He then told me if I didn’t like his hotel, just leave. No concern re my health nor that I was with a group on retreat. When I got sick again on third day, I packed up and left. Of those in my group who remained, two others got worse. I do not recommend this hotel.

    The worst hotel in Qro

    So, I booked a couple of nights to enjoy time with my boyfriend’s family, and we didn’t know this would be the worst. At night, as I was turning down my bed to go to sleep, I found a pair of cockroach legs in the sheets. It should be noted that there is no phone in the room, so my boyfriend called from his room to a call center of the Mission hotels, where he complained and asked to change our room, to which they replied yes and gave us no further response. As we gathered our things and waited for someone to arrive to change our room, half an hour passed without any response. My boyfriend and I went to the reception, where we were not asked for an apology or anything, the receptionist simply told us "take your key and bring me the other one", in a rude and haughty tone. NO ONE CAME TO HELP US WITH OUR BAGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS. After that, when I checked the new room I found that the blankets were dirty with a dripping liquid, we were very disgusted, but we were already tired, cause all this happened at 1 am, so we just decided to take off the blankets and just sleep.In my opinion, there are much cheaper and better quality hotels in San Juan del Rio, than this one; if you are planning to stay here, think about it and don't do it; the cleanliness really leaves much to be desired, and even more with this covid issue, is it that they don't even change the sheets and sanitize after a guest leaves the hotel?

    The rooms are nice, but they really are very basic - no extras. However, everything is in good shape, and the grounds really are beautiful. If you want a place where you can just relax and enjoy without necessarily leaving the property, this is a great place to consider.     I can only recommend this hotel, the rooms are great, breakfast is delicious and the pool is clean. The gardens are very beautiful. Maggy and Lupita were very friendly and kind and helped us to change to a bigger room. Thanks again!

    A beautiful hotel with beautiful gardens and open areas, great rooms, and restaurants. Special thanks to Anna for helping us with our last-minute request for a conference room. Everybody in the restaurant was very professional. I was very impressed with the outstanding service from Brenda Ferretiz at the Mezcaleria. Without a doubt, she was one of the best waitresses I have ever interacted with. Jose Juan, another waiter, was always very friendly and professional.
