  Don't be put off with the walk in. It is a wee hidden gem. Staff are amazing nothing to much bother. Great traditional breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable

  Amazing riad tucked away in the old medina of Marrakech. Ideally located, it lets you experience authentic medina life while still being just a 10-minute walk from the more touristy areas (so evenings & nights remain wonderfully peaceful)A big plus: taxis can drop you less than 50 meters from the entrance, and the team will come meet you and carry your luggage (super convenient in the medina!)The riad has five en-suite rooms. We stayed as a group and privatized the whole place, which made it feel like our own little heaven, but you can absolutely book just one room as well.What truly sets this riad apart are its charming shared spaces: a beautiful rooftop, a traditional patio with cozy sofas, and a warm living room. We spent hours there with friends, laughing, chatting, sipping mint tea… just soaking in the atmosphere.The staff strike the perfect balance: incredibly friendly yet always discreet.And the breakfasts… absolutely unforgettable.I couldn’t recommend this riad more warmly if you’re planning a trip to Marrakech.

  A Hidden Gem!

  (In English et en Francais ci-dessous)We stayed with good friends in Riad Ayni, taking over this beautiful 5 bedroom riad for a weekend. It was the perfect hideaway, located within the medina and about 10 minute walk from the souks.WELCOMING - From the moment we stepped through the door (down a quiet cul de sac) a warm smile and welcome awaited us. Both Simohammad and Abdessamad were super lovely and constantly anticipating our needs (whether it was a charger, plugs, extra water, running routes!). MEALS - We had an excellent dinner in the riad in our first evening which was ideal after flying from the UK. Our leisurely breakfast each morning was delicious and substantial and got us off to a great start to the day, in the dining area overlooking the courtyard garden. BEDROOMS - Bedrooms are extremely comfortable with all 5 located on the same floor.ROOFTOP TERRACE - The rooftop terrace has a lovely pool (we didn’t have time to fit a dip in!) and sunbathing area as well as a hamman. A great area to chill and relax. Very atmospheric. We had the true ‘Marrakech hamman’ experience on our last day (this can be booked through the riad). OVERALL - The entire riad is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and atmospheric and it truly felt like home to us all. Highly recommend for a family group or group of friends. Parfaitement placé au centre de la médina et à 10 minutes à pied des souks.BIENVENUE - Bienvenue avec le sourire de Simohammad et Abdessamad, toujours attentifs et chaleureux , ils répondent à tous nos besoins , rien n’est jamais trop demandé !REPAS - Excellent repas à notre arrivée ( de Londres) le premier soir. Les petits dejeuners sont aussi copieux que délicieux, servis avec vue sur la belle cour jardin.CHAMBRES - Très confortables et toutes les chambres sont au même étage.TOIT TERRASSE - Superbe terrasse pour se relaxer avec petite piscine , transats et un hamnan !Réservation sur place possible pour une session au hamman. Nous l’avons fait , une vraie expérience authentique marocaine.CONCLUSION - Impeccable Riad , très propre , service sur mesure et avec une décoration très soignée , hautement recommandé pour un séjour en famille ou avec des amis. Nous y reviendrons sûrement !

  Complaint Letter / ReviewSubject: Scam Warning – Riad Ayni, MarrakechI strongly advise travelers to avoid Riad Ayni in Marrakech. My experience here was extremely dishonest and distressing.I booked a stay but left after only 1.5 days because of poor service and unacceptable conditions. Despite this, the riad charged me for 9 nights and has refused to return my money. This is a clear scam.Not only was the property misrepresented, but the management showed no willingness to resolve the issue fairly. Instead, they kept the payment for nights I did not stay.Travelers should be very cautious — this riad is taking advantage of guests, and their practices are dishonest. I hope booking platforms and Moroccan tourism authorities will investigate these unethical actions.Do not stay here unless you want to risk losing your money.

  Wonderful Stay

  We had a wonderful stay at Riad Ayni. Its a cozy small Riad, with only 5 rooms and three of them were reserved for us, so we felt like being at home. Its located at the North of Medina, like 20-30 min walk from the center of it, in one of the not so touristic neighborhoods, that could be an issue for someone. We nonetheless enjoyed our walks back and forward no matter the time or the day. The people of the Riad are very kind, we have to mention Muhammed who made our stay even better by proposing us places to visit and make arrangements for sightseeing, van bookings etc. He always had a smile on his face and always willing to help. There is a small rooftop where someone can enjoy the sun, a tiny pool that we didnt use due to weather not being hot enough, but it was there nonetheless. There is a small patio on the ground floor where you can anjoy some sisha, or wine, depending and a small living room as well. The breakfast was handmande and very tasty. One thing that could be on a minus side, is the fact that the rooms are kind of small and the sound proffing is a little bit limited. Thank you for the memories guys
