  Riad Bamboo is a beautiful and very nicely designed riad. We stayed there as a family for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect for exploring the souks with a 5-minute walk to Jemaa el Fna.The rooms were beautifully designed in a “minimalist-interior-design meets Moroccan tradition” kind of way - with tadelakt walk-in showers, lovely rugs and throws and beautiful doors - very well done. Everything was spotlessly clean. There were nice toiletries and the rooms were very quiet as they are all oriented towards the courtyard. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also very good, we enjoyed it on the beautiful roof terrace. We can highly recommend Riad Bamboo.   Wow stunning Riad

  Wow! This Riad was truly amazing. A little piece of heaven and peace and quiet away from the craziness that is Marrakesh. Ideal location to get to everything - could not have been better located - seconds from the Souks and 5 minutes from the main square. The rooms are stunning, very well decorated and a good use of space - shower was amazing. We had the ground floor room, all other rooms are on the first floor we believe - no lift. Air conditioning great. Maid service exceptional - every day clean linen and towels and even tidy up for us (shamefully!). Lounge area with pool was gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Roof top was a great hide out from the bustle of the streets below and we enjoyed the Riad’s included delicious breakfast every morning up there. The staff could not do more to help! There was always someone around to help and they could not do more for us. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make the Riad feel like home. They provided an exceptional lunch for us the day that we missed breakfast due to an early tour and even gave John a small gift for his birthday. A truly special experience and could not recommend enough! We loved it! Ps watch out for la la the house cat and Terrance the tortoise (our name for him!)   The best experience from this amazing riad in Marrakesh!Simon and Aziz the best hostes!Breakfast very rich and complete, very comfortable rooms and the cleanest 100% top.We reserved as well a massage which it was one of the best. The security in the night and the assistance is 24h.

  Exceptional from start to finish.Our transfer from the airport was flawless, and we booked this through the venue at a very reasonable rate. our bags were transported by a super nice guy from the vehicle to the hotel, even though her had been paid for this, we still tipped him, because it just made life so much easier.Riad Bamboo is located pretty much in the heart of the Medina, and we were warmly welcomed and offered beautiful refreshments as we arrived.We were given the grand tour of the entire Riad which was absolutely charismatic and NOT what we expected.The room did not disappoint and was beautifully laid out.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and gave us some great advice on places to visit, even though we had already booked a complete day tour with a local guide. The recommendations for places to eat were spot on, and we loved the food and would not hesitate to revisit these.The walk from the hotel to the main market and surrounding areas is not without adventure, local to so many places worth seeing.Derb Debachi (the main thoroughfare from Riad Bamboo to the market) is full of shopping treats and food stands and while pleasant to walk around during the day, can become seriously gridlocked for about 3 hours in the evening at weekends.While I do not want this to reflect badly on the venue at all, but all I could smell was petrol fumes from the countless motorbikes weaving their way through the market and streets, but even when nobody was moving, complete gridlock the locals on these hairdryer style motorbikes felt the need to continuously rev and rev and rev, believing the more they did this, the quicker people would move, but all they were doing is polluting the entire area. Back to the venue, Simo (I think someone has called him Simon) was so nice and so helpful. He even escorted us to a local medical centre where my girlfriend could have a Covid test before flying.The food stalls are all pretty exceptional along Derb Debachi and in Jamaa el Fna Square, food stand 001 is a strong suggestion.It seems nothing is too much for the staff here, and the hospitality is a credit not only to Bamboo, but Morocco itself.I am returning in December for another long weekend stay, unfortunately I could not get into Bamboo, as it is full, which in itself, speaks volumes.Hopefully you will enjoy some of the photos I have posted.My thanks to the entire team at Road Bamboo, you made the whole stay a trip to remember.

  A fantastic haven in the heart of the medina

  We had a beautiful stay at the Riad Bamboo. Simo was so welcoming, a perfect host. We really felt at home here. Be aware cars can't come right up to the Riad, we got a friendly man with a cart to help us with luggage.As soon as the door to the riad shuts you are in a tranquil, safe haven, it's hard to believe theres so much busyness just outside. The rooms are beautifully decorated, we throughly enjoyed the terrace and the plunge pool felt fab after a hot day exploring Marrakech. This is in a great location to explore the Souks and the old town. Breakfast was deliciously filling and coming home to a freshly brewed pot of Moroccan mint tea was such a treat! Thank you Simo (and the lovely lady staff member) for taking care of us and looking out for us so well - we will certainly be back!!
