    STAY AWAY FROM RIAD BELOISEAU

    rating12 Jan 2021

Stay away from this accommodation and the managers Patrick and his partner! I booked this riad for September 2020 and paid €3000 euros in two installments. We never ended getting there because the country closed ...I asked for some funds back because of the pandemic as Morocco closed its borders and the owner has NOT given me ANY of the deposits back, not even one. After emailing several times attempting to get something back, he finally responded to say I could book next year 'take care.' Since then he has ignored my messages, emails and all other forms of contact. I have asked very kindly to at least give some deposit back. He is completely out of line and has stolen my deposit and also asked me to pay more cash on arrival probably for him to avoid paying his taxes. We are in a pandemic and there is no way to travel to Marrakech. I'm shocked at the way he thinks he does business. Do not book this accommodation. I have tried countless times to reach Patrick but he continues to ignore me and refuses to come to an agreement.I held a yoga gathering at Riad Beloiseau in 2019. It was nice scenery in the beginning but Patrick tried to charge us insane amounts at the end of our stay €200 euros for water which we purchased before for our guests. The rooms also smelled like a drain odour. Patrick and Joel have no idea how to run business, and ripping people off is not the way to do it. Read the other reviews on Riad Beloiseau and you will find similar experiences with overcharging guests not to mention their very rude attitude and aggressive nature.Very disappointedEm

    The owners are awful

    rating19 Jan 2020

We had privatized the whole Riad but our experience was ruined by the owner (Patrick). First of all, I want to say that it is connected to the owner and not the place nor the staff. The place is really nice, the pools and the rooms are great, but the owner was very rude with us and completely ripped us off. They have hidden costs that are announced only when the reservation is confirmed, and there are no cost lists at all when on site. If we would know in advance that a shisha would cost 200 MAD, we would not have asked for it. They also charge the maximum tourist tax (40 MAD per person per night) that corresponds to the tourist tax for palaces when we should pay only 7 MAD for this kind of place. We are suspecting them to keep this tax for them. The quality of the breakfast and the owners attitude towards customer should really be improved if they want to pretend to be a palace. I don't recommend this place at all until the ownership changes. Riad Beloiseau M, Gérant at Riad Beloiseau, responded to this review Nous vous remercions de votre éloge sur notre établissement.

    Beautiful Riad with lovely staff

    rating04 Mar 2019

The holiday was a birthday treat for myself and my sister and everything exceeded our expectations. The whole place exudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity with marvellous views of the Atlas mountains and rich agricultural land. The accommodation and communal areas and gardens were stylish and spotlessly clean. It would have been difficult for the Moroccan staff to be any more friendly, efficient, accommodating and patient. The French owner went to considerable trouble to meet our needs and organise excursions (including an unanticipated visit to an osteopath!). The food was of a very high quality. Transfer to the airport was straightforward. Really can't rate the whole experience highly enough. ouledmezoug, Gérant at Riad Beloiseau, responded to this review Thank you very much Elain for your comment that makes us hot in the heart and all the staff. We look forward to seeing you again.Regards Patrick

Wonderful place to enjoy amazing holiday

    rating24 Aug 2016

I am so thankful to Aurélie and Guillaume for taking care of me during my amazing stay. They are so friendly and helpful, you feel like you are at home with family member. The location is great, not too far from Marrakech downtown and on the other side from the wonderful Atlas for a trekking trip. Actually from the garden you got THE amazing view on the mountain chain. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfort with all the needed facilities and the Moroccan’s charm. And the pool is very nice, perfect to chill.I will definitely come back if I can.
