Central riad with a historical touch

Very good location in the middle of the medina (old town) of Marrakesh. The host and his employee were extremely committed, showed us around the riad, pointed out places worth seeing in Marrakesh and told us about local customs. The interior is well worth seeing, but also a little dated (e.g. shower head loose). The nights were unfortunately a bit noisy (building site nearby? Or a dance hall?). We were able to enjoy the generous breakfast in the inner courtyard.

For an unique and fun travel experience in Marrakech, opt to stay in a riad instead of a regular hotel to truly experience the Moroccan way of living. We opted for Riad Ben Youssef and the host was very attentive and informative. The riad itself is beautiful and fun to explore during your stay. While breakfast could be improved given some guests enjoy heartier breakfast options, I am aware that what was served is very accurate to an authentic Moroccan breakfast.

We (from Holland/the Netherlands) have been able to stay for a week in Riad Ben Youssef. A fantastic experience. The Riad was located in the middle of the Medina, around the corner from the Koran school Medersa Ben Youssef and close to the famous souks. All famous sights were within walking distance. The management (Hakim) and the staff of the Riad were there for us 24 hours a day. At the very friendly reception we were extensively informed and advised about the do's and don't's. The rooms at Riad Ben Youssef were fine. In addition, we could use various additional facilities: the rooftop, a swimming pool, a games and reading room, a beautiful relaxing courtyard, etc. Hakim arranged reservations on request. He also arranged taxi transport to and from (in the middle of the night) the airport. In one word: a great Riad, with an excellent price/quality ratio. Definitely recommend.

A Wonderful Riad

Just back from a fantastic 7 nights in Marrakesh, staying at this beautiful Riad. Perfectly situated near the Ben Youssef square, close to the wonderful Medersa & the 12th century Almoravid complex next to the mosque. Close to the souks & 10 mins from Jemaa El Fnaa square & the palaces.This is a fantastic 6 bed Riad with a beautiful courtyard & many authentic features. All the rooms were stunning with some wonderful artifacts. The pool was a must on a hot day returning from a day exploring. A very friendly welcome from Hakim who gave some excellent advice & useful information and Marwan was always there to help with anything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given our own key so could come & go as we pleased.Beautiful bedrooms, lovely views from the roof terrace, good breakfast, clean, safe & friendly, a highly enjoyable stay. A perfect place to stay in Marrakesh. Highly recommended. Ali & Chloe
