A genuine haven of tranquility and elegance

It was a great pleasure for us to stay for two nights at this gem riad! The entire place was decorated with exceptionally good taste, beautifully scented, and filled with stunning details, while the room was impeccably tidy and clean.Laurence, the owner of the riad, was a wonderful hostess! She warmly welcomed us and eagerly offered useful information and advice. All the staff members radiated kindness and grace and were always willing to support us with anything we needed.A perfect place with an excellent team!

Charming Moroccan interior, full of style, clean and well-kept. Staff are most friendly and professional; helped us find local shop with quality Moroccan clothes and a well-priced local hamman. Breakfast menus were very tasty. I would recommend this spot for a uniquely comfortable Moroccan spot during your stay in bustling city of Marrakesh.

An exceptional stay at the Riad. Great location only a short walk from the main square, as 2 women, we felt very safe even when walking to our hot air balloon transfer at 4am. Laurence, Said and all of the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I am well travelled but would say the hospitality is the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. The riad itself is beautiful and feels so chilled and relaxed. The room was spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. Wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace. We will be returning. Thank you :)

Excellent Riad, exceptional hospitality

We are a couple in our late 50's and booked Riad Charme d'Orient through Hotels.com because of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. This was a good choice as nothing dissapointed us during our stay. Laurance arranged our taxi pick up from the airport to the Riad in the medina which was faultless. We were met at teh side of teh road by Sied who walked us through the narrow ally ways to the Riad. The Riad is traditional, quiet and relaxing and our hosts could not do enough for us during our stay. It is located in a perfect location for exploring the Medina with good directions being given by Sied in the first instance. Breakfast was varied and plentiful for the four days we stayed. The bed was firm, but comfortable with a nice bathroom. We would absolutly stay here again. #Our only slight negative would be there is no alcohol at the Riad, so we sought out a restraunt where we could get a gin and tonic after a long day exploring.
