    this is a very nice place to stay in Marrakesh - close to everywhere - markets and restaurants (only you have to park the car some distance away ) . Rooms are nice and decorated in Moroccan style, beds are comfortable and the view from the roof terrace is great. Breakfast is always very fresh and varied and the staff at the place very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to stay!

    This accommodation was perfect for us as a young couple on our first visit to Marrakech. When we first arrived Mostafa was really great with showing us the Riad and recommending what to do and what not to do! Without his help I think we would have had a completely different experience. The breakfast every morning was delicious, however on the 6th morning it got a bit repetitive so could include a bit more variation as a point of improvement. Fouzi brought us complimentary mint tea at various times on the holiday which was always well received - really nice touch!We had dinner at the Riad one night - 3 course meal for 20 Euros each which was beautiful, and a bottle of wine. We didn't manage to use the pool but definitely would if we came back again in the summer. Mostafa helped us most days with taxis and average prices of thing so we wouldn't get ripped off lol! In order to get to the front door of the Riad it requires you to walk down a dark alley which was slightly daunting at first, but after we became comfortable with the location this was ok. The area is very safe but different to what we are used to. Overall our experience of Marrakech was made by staying at Riad Dar Ourika. We would recommend to everyone wanting to visit Marrakech and would 100% stay there again next time we visit.

    Riad filled with fine African and other art that would benefit from better showcasing as it truly is unique. The riad itself could use a facelift but is nice and in a very central position. Faouzi was manager during most of our short stay and was wonderful. He even insisted on waking up and cooking me the best breakfast ever at 5 AM (!!!) before my early flight.

    The hotel was great and our favorite part was Faouz. He really made our stay enjoyable, especially in a crazy city like Marrakech. The hotel itself is nice but can use a refurbishment. the rooms were clean and nice. there is coffee in the morning.

    Beautiful peaceful riad with tranquil rooftop, delicious breakfast and friendly helpful staff team. Perfect for first time visitors to Marrakesh. Special thanks to Fawzi who was so kind and went out of his way to help us with ideas and suggestions.
