    Great staff , clean bed rooms wonderful service

    Riad Dar Zaya was the place to go to during the day to run away from the souk noise . It was extremely calm and quite all the time. The room and bed sheets were very clean and most importantly the staff and housekeeping like Amina , very friendly and helpful staff , keep asking all the time if we need anything. The only negative side is finding out way to the hotel . We arrived very late at night and we were lucky to find one of the locals who took us through the dark souk at night asking guards to open gates . It's recommended to arrive there during the daylight .

    Nice Riad but Difficult to Find and Poor Service

    Positive:The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and the place was generally well-kept.Negative:The riad is hard to reach, located in narrow alleys about 10 minutes from the nearest road for taxis. No useful info was given at check-in. The door lock with a padlock is awkward, the entrance gate is hard to open, hot water is not always available, and while Wi-Fi reaches most areas, the internet connection is often unstable. The safe was not usable and, despite asking for it to be fixed, nothing was done.

    At first glance, the guest house feels incredibly cozy and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable—just don't expect hotel-level standards. But honestly, what truly sets this Riad apart and makes it feel even better than a 5-star hotel is the staff.We stayed for four nights, and during our stay, my daughter came down with the stomach flu. The way everyone responded was just amazing. They were so kind, patient, and genuinely caring, doing everything they could to help us through the situation without a single complaint. They really went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt better and could enjoy the rest of the trip.And the food? Absolutely incredible. It was the best we had during our entire time in Morocco. Their smoked aubergine starter was a standout—don’t miss it!

    Great place to stay for the tired traveler. Service was amazing. The management staff had great local recommendations and even helped with securing local products and get it delivered to the hotel. Beautiful decor. Highly recommend it for future travelers.

    Great riad in the heart of Medina

    Really romantic riad to stay in - it's connected with another riad so you get to see two riads all for the price of one. The rooms are a bit dark for my liking - better lighting would be better. Also, we had a triple room, and I wasn't aware that there wasn't a third bed in the room - a layaway bed was provided but it was way too soft to sleep on. Finding the riad is quite challenging - we were led by the person from our prior riad and he had trouble finding it so definitely ask riad to meet you beforehand.The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the rooftop was the best one that we saw in Fes and Marrakech.
