    Unforgetable stay!!

    rating20 Apr 2017

My husband and i have spent a magical week in "Riad Des Eaux et Des Epices"! The staff was extremely nice. And Wafa " The manager" was so sweet! We had the time of our lives. The Riad is just, if not, better than we expected, very cozy and clean. A home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect. We had Three dinners in the Riad and it was fantastic! Fatima "the cook" makes the best chicken Tajin!!! Unforgettable trip. I truly highly recommend staying at Riad Des Eaux et Des Epices :)

Well cleaned but very poorly maintained,Building work not finished needs money spent on it.

    rating09 Jan 2017

In our room the side table was broken, only one wall light worked, one bedside light worked, the other one didn't, the hand basin tap wobbled about ,it had not been properly fixed in, and the shower head, was not screwed to the wall—When I complained to the owner- ( who was very charming )—she spent €5 on a bracket and her very good manager, Mustafa, fixed it up with a screw in the wall—it had only needed doing for about two years !! He also put an extension lead on to one of the bedside lamps. In January the room was very cold indeed, but Mustaffa found us a heater that worked, and an extra duvet, that helped a lot.The roof terrace was very poor indeed with only a couple of very tired chairs and a rickety table. It looked good in the pictures but most things looked as they were rejects from the owner, or some one else's house. It really needs some money spent on the property to bring it up to a reasonable basic standard.Breakfast was very basic indeed-though I did manage to get an egg on a couple of days !Out of the 7 days we were there the WiFi only worked for one day !!we tried to relocate but were not able to.On the good side, the shower did have hot water and Mustaffa was wonderful, he held the place together, he did everything he could to help make things enjoyable, without him being there I think it would have been a disaster !

    Amazing stay in old Medina

    rating02 Jan 2017

In the heart of the old Medina, hidden back from the crowds on the main Souq, in narrow streets is located this Riad. The property is very nicely decorated and clean. Room with fire place is very spacious. The common space of the riad including rooftop terrace is very cozy. The staff, Moustapha and manager Wafa are very friendly and helpful. Only negative is that Wi-Fi was not working all the time and the breakefast could be better. We really enjoyed our stay in Marrakech also thanks to this accommodation.

Nice and quiet riad, highly recommended

    rating27 Dec 2016

Clean place with spacious rooms. Mustafa, the host was very caring person. He took us to Djemaa el-Fna, a huge square via a maze of souqs for the first time so we knew the way to the raid, which is rather difficult to find. There is no other way to get there than walking. He also helped us with any questions regarding visiting Marrakech and organized transportation to the taxi when we were leaving the city. Very helpful and kind person. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pleasant Riad but you need to have a good sense of direction!

    rating13 Dec 2015

Stayed here overnight with my friend. Riad is clean and pleasant and room was nice and clean too. We stayed in the twin room on the first floor, bathroom had no door - just curtains which is not ideal if you would like some privacy. The quietness of the Riad can be a bit awkward sometimes when you're talking but that's just something you have to get used to as all Riads are more or less built the same way.Location is very difficult to find, I usually have a good sense of direction but this Riad is really tucked away near the spice market and upon every return back to the Riad we got lost! The location on google maps is incorrect so make sure to ask the staff for some sort of map.Breakfast is very basic (coffee, tea, moroccan pancakes, bread, butter, eggs, yoghurt and jam) not very filling as I've stayed at other riads with bigger and better variety. The wifi was weak in our room but slightly better in the sitting area just outside our room.
