Not accessible by car , you have to walk 10 mins from the nearest drop off point, stairs were too hectic, Very poor internet, No toiletries were served. · Fair for the price paid , at the heart of the old town Not recommended for families

Don't go there. They are robbers around the hotel.

The guy who works there is very rude with the clients and the rooms at the second floor the shower doesn't work properly. When we told the guy he was shooting at us and told us it's nothing he can do for us. It's very dangerous at night. They are robbers around the hotel. It's very dark. Good luck to you.

Nice riad in the heart od medina

    rating01 Mar 2018

Our stay in Riad was very nice. The owner Jusuf is a very kind and helpful man. He told about good and cheap restaurants, souks, shops etc. There is just 5 min walking distance to Jemma el Fna square. The Riad is actually in the middle of souks. We like the top floor under the heaven, which is higher than most of medina buildings, so the view is amazing! The bathroom shuld be nicer and cleaner.

Very unpleasant experience with the owner

    rating11 Feb 2018

The hotel is located in an historical and nice building, but the quality of the room and hygiene standards are quite poor; most of all, however, we had a very disturbing experience with the owner, who was aggressive and extremely rude to us. On the first day,my sister and I had a shower; as the plumbing is really bad, the shower started leaking immediately and we had to stop showering and use the only two towels in the room to absorb the water, as the whole bathroom and part of the room floor were soaking wet. The evening after, as our room hadn’t been cleaned or changed yet, I politely asked the owner if we could have two more towels. Totally unexpectedly, the owner started yelling at us, claiming that he did not have more towels, that towels were expensive and that it was our fault for using them as a carpet. As I explained the situation, he argued that, if we wanted our rooms to be cleaned, we should have left the door open, but at that point we were as well responsible for any stolen item. Eventually, he complained for us leaving our chargers into the power plugs, on the grounds that, as they were not original (!) they could have caused electrical problems. This was a bit weird, as it was clear that he was accessing our room but just chose not to clean it. After examining the shower, he probably realized ha had been a bit off, and tried to be more polite from the third day on. Nonetheless, it was a really terrible experience, a total failure in hospitality for a hotel which does not have great value for money.

Very basic with a good distance to Jemma El Fnaa

    rating30 Dec 2017

+ The positive.Youssef was ok as a host and helped out with booking one of the tours from the broschure he had. He speaks english which helped us.The brekfast was very basic but nice. 1 bread, 1 pancake, butter, marmelade, 1 glass juice, tea and coffee. The building is one of the tallest in the Medina so the view from the terrasse is nice. The room was clean. The bathroom had a fan to remove the humidity after showering, and warm water was no problem. It felt safe due to the location. No noise from the street or surroinding was heard in the room.- The not so goodThe towells smelled bad when they got humid. When showering most of he bathroom gets wet including the toilet and the sink.Non smoking sign was not respected nor enforced. You can hear all the other rooms even just normal conversations from two floors up, and most guests did not care if they were loud or not.It was quite cold in the room as there was no heating, so we had to put on some clothing to not freeze while sleeping. You have to pay the entire stay in cash when you check in.It is quite difficult to find, as no map have a correct location of the address.
