  Up market hotel

  The hotel and its grounds including a variety of pools is outstanding. The cleanliness of the rooms was very good with all furniture and fittings being of a good quality. We stayed in a swim up room with a relatively private terrace with its own sunbeds. Would recommend this as it gives the atmosphere a much upmarket feel.Always lots of sunbeds in the main adult area, we used this area up until midday whereby the sun hit our own terrace for the rest of the day.Although the complex is quite sprawling we found the bars and restaurants were all relatively close by.The main restaurant where you take breakfast and dinner is somewhat noisy as there was a lot of children and this can be expected , the food quality was good for an A/I .The main bar and entertainment area where you also take lunch can be a bit manic and we tended to take lunch as late as possible to avoid the excesses.Entertainment at night in this area from what we saw was mainly for children but there was a Michael Jackson show and also three singers called the Legends which were quite good , this was 2130 -2230 on a couple of nights.The lobby bar is a lot more relaxed for adults and both bars A/I finishes at midnight.We attended the two al a carte restaurants which was a nice change having waiter service etc wine and water was charged .We were at the hotel for 7 nights and we went into Tigaki centre for a meal on one night (only because it was fish night at the hotel and we don't eat / cant stand the smell of fish) also went round the bars on a couple of nights in the centre, they were vibrant and friendly.We are in our mid seventies and have travelled extensively for many years and would rate this hotel as a very good standard all inclusive with one caveat. Each of the bars and at all meal times you have to catch the eyes of waiters to take your drink order, to some degree meal times are manageable but at the bars during the evening it can be very frustrating with waiters taking orders for drinks they cannot recall who ordered them and you are left waiting for two drinks whilst the waiters are waiting for dozens of drinks to be ordered and delivered. Other hotels manage much more efficiently than this with pour yourself wine / beers and sufficient bar staff pouring drinks to order.

  Stunning hotel

  This place is a must visit, the hotel is stunning, the grounds of it are beautiful and the mountain view are brilliant. Staff are all excellent so friendly, rooms are cleaned every day and are very nice. Each block seem to have their own pool so its very relaxed and calm atmosphere. Theres adult only areas aswell. Kids part i cant comment on as we stayed in the adult only area. Night time theres entertainment if you like which is pretty good or theres a couple of bars you can sit at and have a cocktail. Food is great, a different theme each night and 2 a la carte restaurants you can book to dine in. A few restaurants and bars close by but honestly this hotel is so nice you wouldn't have to leave. We will be back.   Coeliac treatment excellent

  After check in I was referred to guest relations to explain I have coeliac disease. Manos & Stratos were excellent they informed the chefs in ALL restaurants & told me to make myself known to them. The chefs were absolutely fabulous spoke very good English & knew all about coeliac disease.I was given no ends of choice for breakfast lunch & dinner. If I wanted anything different it was no bother for them to cook it. Nikos & Margaretta were both very friendly nothing was a problem for them. The whole team made my holiday an absolute joy because I didn’t have to worry about my problem. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with coeliac disease because they look after you very well.   A fantastic Greek holiday resort

  The Starry Night was an experience unlike any other - terrific staff, sensational food and a brilliant wine menu. The hotel itself is immaculately kept with modern rooms, a great selection of bars and eateries. Very easy to connect with both Tigaki town and Kos City from the hotel itself (the bus stop across the road is very hand and reduces the cost of travel greatly).
