    My first trip to the african continent could not have been better the riad was easy to contact before we left sweden and very serviceminded. The riad itself is Magic but what really stands out is the staff. They are the sweetest most welcoming group ive come across on my travels. The food both breakfast and als carte is 5 Star . I can really recommend Riad Jona and its staff.Henrik Westerling room Oud.

    Good room and breakfast but spoilt by the hot tub not in use. Also don’t expect to swim in the swimming pool as it is too shallow. Breakfast is from 8.00 which is a bit late if you are going on tour as many start at 8.30 or 9.00 and it is a 10 minute walk at least to get to the nearest taxi area. Their taxi service is very expensive and we were promised a 20 euro refund due to this and breakfast not starting until 8.20 when 7 guests had requested breakfast at 7.45. However they did not pay the refund which is disappointing.

    "We had an unforgettable stay at Riad Jona, near the heart of the Medina and steps away from the vibrant souks. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style - a true oasis in the bustling city.The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, but one person truly stood out: Abdoul. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm smile and professional service. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering tailored recommendations and always being on hand to help. His kindness and dedication made our experience at Riad Jona truly special.A practical tip for future guests: opt for a room on the upper floors, as those on the ground floor can be a bit noisy due to the breakfast area and kitchen.Overall, we're giving Riad Jona 5 stars, but Abdoul deserves 7 stars - he's a star of the show and destined for great things! 😊"

    An oasis of calm in the Medina

    We had an amazing few days in the Riad Jona. It's an oasis of calm in the heart of the Medina. It's beautifully decorated and gives an air of real peace and tranquility, which can be a real relief after a day of the madness (in a good way!) of Marrakesh.The real gem of this place is the staff. They were both attentive and friendly without being fawning or overly chummy. Nothing was any trouble and were happy to give advice on places to visit and where to eat.I had the afternoon cooking experience, making the lamb tagine with one of the cooks and a young translator. I had a lovely afternoon not only finding out about the food, but having lovely conversations about life in Morocco and just generally having a good chat. My wife had the hammam and massage and loved it.The food was lovely when we ate there and the breakfasts a little different every day. If/when we go back to Marrakesh, we'll definitely stay here.

    You will not go wrong if you book this place. It’s immaculate and the staff are wonderful. Be aware that if you book ground floor rooms you are literally in the main reception, kitchen, bar and restaurant area. It’s not a tranquil room. Had a hamman and a massage, both excellent. Located 10 minutes stroll from Mann square and 5 minutes from Jewish quarter. Riad is also relatively easy to find once dropped by taxi/lift. Would highly recommend.
