    A beautiful hotel. Food was good but a bit overpriced. Walking in the town was pleasant. Not so great: Had to sign the standard waiver saying the hotel would not be responsible for ‘lost’ or stolen items; but there wasn’t a safe in the room. Also the hotel did not take cash so we couldn’t change larger bills in order to leave tips. Staff were very reserved, did not really feel welcome here. Also upon checkout Front Desk tried to get me to pay for additional drinks I did not have… asked to see the chit and although it was my room number it was not my signature. Very uncomfortable as they were quite insistent and it was difficult to communicate (I do not speak Spanish and their English was poor). In the end I refused to pay.     Ciudad valles la Mission is great hotel with great service for what Coudad Valles has to offer. Very clean rooms.     Stay away! The worst Mision hotel.

    Check in was a disaster, very slow, they had two reservations in their system for the same stay. Had to move rooms because there was no hot water or pressure in one shower. The rooms were filthy, furniture was scratched and not well maintained. TV was very small and old. The linens looked grey and the towels were very old. The hotel in general was in really bad shape, it is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in Mexico.

    Worst hotel ever. I have stayed in better hostels than this. My bedroom smells like toilet all the time. Second night I found a puddle of water inside my room and it took 1hr for someone to clean it. I gave some clothes to be cleaned and it came back with a shirt missing and took 45 min to find it. Poorly painted and bad service at reception. I do not recommend.EDIT: I did this review before the second night of a three night stay. When I woke up after the second night where I had to clean my own room using one of my towels, I call reception asking for more towels and they answer me "that is not possible you have to use the dirty towels, we can give out more".This is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. If I could give negative stars I would.Please save yourself of the bad time and do not stay here. There is plenty of little towns around Ciudad Valles with better hotels than this.

    Beware!! Security Breach - Never staying here again!

    The personal information that we provided for checking in (mobile phone, names, room number) were shared with a criminal organization that tried to impersonate police officers through a late night call and get us out of the hotel. We tried to call the front desk and never could, after a while we hanged up and went through a very long night, we packed everything and got out early morning.The hotel premises are ok but old, rooms clean and spacious, staff friendly but impersonal.
