  An amazing place, very well located in the heart of the Medina. The staff were very friendly, the owners were there every moment checking all single detail. They also have an employee really friendly and helpful. We felt like home.

  Can’t recommend Riad Miral enough!

  I can’t speak highly enough of our four night stay at Riad Miral! It’s the perfect escape from the bustling medina, tucked away down quiet little streets, but within walking distance to everything of interest in and around the area. The location is perfect! We had arranged an airport pickup and the owner, Hicham met us at the square to help with our baggage and walk with us to the riad. I really recommend doing this to avoid the stress of navigating yourself as the narrow lanes and hectic streets are difficult when you first arrive. The transfer cost €25. The riad itself is beautiful! We had Moroccan tea in the communal sitting area after arriving - a lovely welcoming touch! The roof terrace is also really nice and there’s an option to have breakfast there if you want to. Breakfast was simple but perfect! Scrambled eggs, some breads (traditional Moroccan), yogurt, fruit, something sweet, juice and coffee or Moroccan tea. We really enjoyed it everyday. Our room was really lovely. The drain in the bathroom smelled at times, usually during the night or in the morning, but I think this is probably the system in the area rather than a riad-specific problem. Other than that, we found it very comfortable. The staff here are so lovely! Owners Monica and Hicham couldn’t do enough for us. They really made us feel like it was our home while we were there and went out of their way to advise us, make us tea, and to make us feel at home. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Marrakech! It’s very good value for money, comfortable, and an excellent location. You get the traditional Riad experience in the heart of the medina, while being far enough removed from the madness and noise to be able to relax as well. If we return to the city, we would 100% stay here again!

  First riad experience, looking forward to returning

  I have been to Morocco two time before, this was my second in Marrakech. I brought my fiancée for his first time in Morocco for our 4 night break. Before I flew, I WhatsApp the riad to ask for specific location and was provided with a map and the closest car park for the cab to drop us off. When we arrived, we were greeted by Monica, one of the owners. She gave us my favourite Moroccan mint tea and guided us through a map that became our best friend. When I told her that I have food intolerances, she said she will buy things that I can eat. I was so surprised and very appreciative for her accommodating me.Our stay at this riad was a beautiful delight. Every morning and evening after our day full of exploring, we sat in the centre of the riad drinking mint tea and in marvel at the beautiful wooden carvings in the doors, frames and surroundings. Our room was dark, but this is reflective of traditional decor, again, I was in awe at the ceiling design. The bed sheet was so soft, I want the same for my home, our room was cleaned daily, towels and bathroom mat changed daily, toiletries refilled daily. I was happy to walk bare foot on my room floor and I am OCD about cleanliness. Yannis, the main helper, went above and beyond daily with serving our breakfast, ensuring I had enough to eat and the right things for my intolerances, he was so friendly, we had great conversations. Monica was a fantastic host. We had a laugh near every evening. This was my first time staying in a riad and it really could not have been better. We plan to return to our new home next year. It really was not difficult to find from the car park, once you know where you are going. Entre from the path where is African restaurant is located a few yards down the path on your right. Use your Google map. Avoid being directed from a local who will expect payment for their good deed. I really could go on about how great it all was, I miss all the lovely Moroccan aunties who smiled at me and brothers who made my fiancée feel like this is his second home because they all said he looked Moroccan.

  Just had 4 nights at Riad Miral and it was a great experience. The pre-arranged taxi from the airport was stress free and the short walk to the riad was a good introduction to the mopeds, donkeys and cats of the Medina. One visit and the Riad is easy to find and felt safe day and night. Everything is in walking distance.Monica is a great host and really helped with useful tips and booking trips. We did the cooking class with her and the riad cook which was great fun and a chance to ask lots of questions about morrocco and marrakesh. A little bit more expensive than some advertised classes but you get to eat your efforts on the lovely roof terrace and relax so worth it.The Riad was spotless and the whole team really friendly. Would happily stay again but would bring an extra warm top in Nov/Dec....it's chilly at that altitude!

  Beautiful read with excellent service

  This Riad is a must for lovers of good design an excellent service. The riad and its rooms are beautiful marockan design. Stepping in felt calming, relaxing, yet sophisticated. The design of the inner courtyard is reminiscent of the Bahia palace in miniature. The hostess and staff are friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to help us. The interior design was really nice. We were offered tea and marockan sweets upon arrival, but also randomly during our stay. Everything we needed help with was provided.The location was really good if you are planning on seeing the medina. However, staying in the medina is of course going to be an intense experience.To make your stay better you need to know that some planning is required. If you want your breakfast on the rooftop or order dinner you need to let the staff know way ahead.
